A Day Away From Mommy

You both went to your GiGi's and Gi-Pa Poncho's house for the day so that Mommy could work on Jude's baby book without intruption, and of course so they could have some time with the two of you together.  Mommy missed you both so much, and didn't accomplish a whole lot on the project.  Mommy left the camera with GiGi and told her to take some pictures while she was away.  GiGi said you both were so good ;)  but that neither of you napped very long and that you both would probably be fussy when you returned home with Mommy.

Bodhi, today was the first time you were happy to see Mommy and wanted to go home with Mommy.  For the last seventeen months, you didn't care much that I dropped you off or picked you up.  However, you would get excited to see your Daddy when he picked you up.  You were very affectionate and anxious to get home.  Jude, when I arrived to get you, you woke up immediately from the sound of my voice, you hadn't been asleep for more than a half hour.  You gave me a look like, "where have you been, and this is not okay."    Broke my heart.

Mommy was so glad to get you both home.  When we arrived home your sister Kelly and her husband, as we all affectionately call him, "Governor," were awaiting your return.  Bodhi they played with you for  about an hour while I fed Jude. Then Mommy bathed and fed you, and you were ready for bed. You nodded yes with your whole body when I asked you if you were ready for bed, an hour earlier than your usual bed time.  Mommy felt very guilty that I didn't get to play with you, especially since you wanted your Momma at GiGi's and Gi-Pa's.  Jude you did not want to go to bed, and you kept waking up everytime I left your side :(  Mommy and Daddy love you both so much!  You both are so unique and so special.

Bodhi you light up when the music comes on!
