Well, Mommy must be getting old, I can't remember anything from yesterday...what is up with that? This happens to me more than I like to admit. Thankfully, Daddy wrote today's blog entry, so now I'm just going to sit here and try to recall what we did yesterday :) Hopefully, I'm not sitting here all night.
So, I had to call Daddy on his cell phone (he's downstairs crashed out on the couch ha/ha) and he helped me remember bits and pieces of yesterday. It was a rainy day, most of the snow is slowly melting away. Mommy made pigs in the blanket for lunch. Daddy fed you two a piece of cheese and juice for breakfast, but didn't tell Mommy, so needless to say, you both were hungry early so we had "brunch." After sharing our lunch together, you two helped Mommy do some laundry. Bodhi, you now pour the laundry soap into the container, and Jude, you spray the stains on the clothes and load them into the washer. You also push the start button. You both regularly help Mommy unload the dishwasher too hee/hee You two love to help Mommy with chores, and you both do so on your own initiative :) Such good babies!
Awww, it's coming back to me :) You two played well together, so Mommy actually got to work on a craft project while you two entertained yourselves, YES! How could I have forgotten. You both played "Cinderella" and dolls in Bodhi's room, occasionally running to Buddha's room to utilize Buddha's rescue 1st responder's doll house :) After nap time, Mommy had completed a decorative clothes pin wreath, like the 8 others I made for gifts at Christmas time. Well, we now have one for our back door. Sean Franky stopped by and moved Daddy's desk so that AT&T could have access to our wiring. Daddy also had to move out all his books AGAIN (sucks being a book hoarder...see picture below ha/ha).
After naps we played dodge ball, tag, and you two ran around the house tormenting each other. After nap time behavior was a bit mean spirited between the two of you. I guess at age two and three, half of a day playing well together is all that should be expected. Bodhi, you asked Mommy to snuggle you in Mommy's bed and watch a movie, so we did. We watched Shrek while Jude crawled all over us and blocked the television for most of our movie time (lord you are a stinker Jude).
Once our movie was over, Mommy made dinner, you two helped Mommy feed the kitties and give the hounds their medications. You two then went about playing until Daddy arrived home after his school meeting (he always has an orientation/faculty thingy prior to a new semester and it always lasts forever). Daddy helped tuck the two of you in bed (for the first time) and then the rest of the night was spent with Mommy re-tucking you both in, over and over and over! Mommy did manage to make another wreath for our front door...I covered wooden leaves and birds in scrap book paper and glued them together (I don't know how to describe it). Both wreaths are "springy" but oh well, we can have spring year round :)
PS Mommy misses Mr. Murff, it's still difficult to think he's gone. He's been gone a year January 7th and my heart still breaks.

Our new funky front door wreath, Mommy is going to make another one of these. I don't know for whom, but I'm going to make another :) |
Our backdoor wreath... I don't know why I love these so much, I just do. Mommy also made a chandelier out of covered clothes pins hee/hee |
