GiGi & Gi-Pa's Thursday Entertainment

Now that GiGi and Gi-Pa watch you every Thursday, our Thursdays always start out the same way..."Mommy is it time to go to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's," all day long until we actually leave, much like our Tuesdays when you go to Grandmoo's.  So, after about a thousand, "Momma, Momma, Momma, are we going yet?" we left for GiGi's and Gi-Pa's house.  Mommy had to leave an extra hour early because the weather outside was frightful. All of the recent rain we've had is now frozen, mixed with episodes of white-outs.  You two didn't get a nap, and you could tell...you both looked exhausted, but that didn't hamper your enthusiasm :)

Mommy gave you both kisses and hugs, GiGi said, "be careful," and you Bodhi, yelled, "Mommy be careful, don't wreck, I need you!"  GiGi immediately said, "I didn't tell her to say that!"  You creeped Mommy out, where do you come up with these things?  Later Daddy text me to be careful, and when I told him what you had said, Daddy told Mommy that you are a very special girl and to listen to you :)  Daddy sent Mommy a text later that there was a really bad wreck, possibly fatal on SR 26, the road Mommy was traveling.  Obviously I made it home as I'm writing this entry, but you made Mommy extra cautious Bodhi girl :)

GiGi reported that you had chapped lips, Jude.  So GiGi put some Vaseline on your lips.  Later you had a chapped bum so GiGi again got the Vaseline out and you started laughing when she finished putting Vaseline on your bum.  GiGi asked you what was so funny,  you said, "GiGi, you are so funny, you put that on my lips and on my butt hole. That doesn't go on my butt hole too."  Hee/hee!  GiGi also reported that you Bodhi, after "supper," told Gi-Pa as you rubbed your belly, "Yummy to my tummy, yum, yum, good supper!"  Ha/ha  Grandmoo always calls Mommy on Tuesdays upset because she makes you guys a big dinner and you both tell her you already had supper, when actually you had only had lunch. GiGi and Gi-Pa got you two calling every meal supper :)

GiGi told Mommy that she and Gi-Pa LOVE having you guys every Thursday and that you two are non-stop entertainment, you guys say and do the funniest things :)

After a long long late afternoon and evening with GiGi and Gi-Pa, Daddy arrived to pick you guys up and take you home.  By the time Mommy arrived home, around 10:30 p.m., you two were knocked out.  Sweet Sweet Dreams my special special babes!

Play Date

First thing this morning, 8:30 a.m., little Hunter arrived for a play date with the two of you.  Uncle Rudy and Aunt Vivian (Lynn and Vivian Rudolph) usually have the pleasure of babysitting this precious little critter while his Mommy and Daddy are at work, however, Mommy had expressed some time ago, that I wanted to steal him away from them so the two of you could have a play date.  Well, some time later, Mommy finally got it arranged.

For a second after arriving, brave little Hunter had a moment of not wanting his Mommy to leave him behind :(  however both of your smiling faces put him at ease in a matter of seconds :)  You both are such good babes.  Buddha, you actually had a couple of moments where jealousy reared it's ugly head ha/ha, but only Mommy would have noticed :)  We got our morning started with Hunter dumping our huge basket of building blocks and you three were off.  The remainder of the day was spent running up and down the stairs from one room to the next playing with random toys.  Buddha, Mommy didn't let you dress up like princess, and you didn't push it...Mommy didn't want to corrupt little Hunter :)-  Bodhi, you became frustrated when "Tanner" wouldn't answer you.  You said countless times today, "Tanner, listen to me, I'm asking you a question."  HA/HA!  Little "HUNTER" just kept right on keeping on, not bothered by the fact that A) you and your brother kept calling him Tanner instead of Hunter, and B) that you were bothered by him not answering you, Bodhi.  Mommy explained several times...Bodhi he is young, and he's a boy....get use to it!  Bodhi, you also noticed that Hunter was a boy hee/hee  Mommy changed Hunter's diaper twice in the five hour span that he was here, and both times you said, "Momma, he's gotta little fire hose like Buddha."  Mommy agreed, "yes, Hunter has a fire hose, however he probably doesn't want you inspecting it.  Now that I think about it, Uncle Rudy is his grandfather, he probably doesn't mind one bit HA!

Buddha, you were so serious with Hunter, it was hilarious.  He would grunt and you would say, "Tanner, what are you saying?"  However, unlike your sister you didn't dwell on the communication issues, you and Hunter played together like best buds.  You did get a little frustrated with Hunter when he would interrupt "your turn" playing the piano, but after several, "Jude, be nice Hunter is our guest," you both played the piano together nicely.

Daddy dropped in and relieved Mommy so that I could get a quick shower in, and then I got busy making lunches.  You both ate an entire individual mini cheese pizza, while Hunter took a bite out of each piece but didn't eat much at all.  Mommy was later told he does like pizza but he doesn't eat a lot.  After lunch and some additional play time, Hunter's Mommy, Caitlyn, and Grandma, Aunt Vivian, arrived to retrieve him.  Hunter, much like the two of you, LOVED seeing his Grandma, even despite his occasional request to know where his Momma was during his visit with us.  You three had a great time together.

Oh, Aunt Dianna and her clan dropped by to see if we wanted to go for a walk.  Mommy had left her cell phone in the car last night and Aunt Dianna was unable to reach Mommy :(  Mommy opted out of the walk since it was rainy out and Hunter had a bad cough, but we'll get to meet up the with the Rudd crew later this week :)

Jude man, Hunter obviously didn't wear you out this morning and afternoon.  You flat out refused to take a nap.  Mommy put you to bed a dozen times.  Your sister was out like a light, but you Mr. were being difficult which has developed into your daily AND nightly routine :(

This evening Grandpa and Great Grandma Penny came by to see the two of you.  Grandpa and Great Grandma Penny played with you both while Mommy vacuumed and mopped (the rainy weather has really muddied up our floors downstairs).  Mommy was quick though.  We all tried to watch the IU and Purdue game and well, Daddy who was busy working in his office, was the only one that managed to watch the entire game ha!  You two were wound up big time.  Grandpa brought you both homemade candy as well as some strawberry milk straws, but Mommy refused to let either of you sample it tonight!!!!  NO WAY!

You two went to bed rather easy tonight, the day finally caught up with you both :)  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!  GO IU!

PS  Mommy is still waiting on her family picture wallets so that I can send out family pictures to the Grills' side :)  I've been assured they will be here soon.  Our photographer, Amy, recently had a death in the family so Mommy didn't want to push her.  Mommy ordered the pictures before Christmas.

Baby Boys!  Mommy forgot to mention...Hunter was obsessed with you and your sister's hair for some reason ha/ha  He kept touching it and saying "hair."  You both told Hunter that you recently got a hair cut ha/ha :)

Always smiling :)  Even when Mommy kept telling him to get his finger out of his nose ha/ha

ATTITUDE!

Off To Grandmoo's House We Go!

Yesterday seems so long ago ha/ha!  Yep, Momma is a day behind again.  We spent the morning per our normal routine with anticipation of Mommy heading to work for a long evening.  You two were happy to hear that you would be spending your Tuesday with Grandmoo :)  Mommy was excited for Grandmoo to see your adorable haircut Buddha.

Mommy packed you both up and dropped you off to Grandmoo at 2:30 p.m.  Mommy started the crock pot, so excited to come home to taco soup.  Today is Daddy's long work day as well.  Mommy showered you both with hugs and kisses and hit the road.

Daddy picked you two up after he got off work a little after 8pm.  Daddy reported that you both were exhausted and went straight to bed when you two arrived home.  Mommy didn't get to tuck you both into bed, however, I knew it was a matter of time before you, Ms. Bodhi would awaken to have Mommy turn your channel, and you Mr. Buddha, would be crawling in bed with Momma :)  Both were true, so Mommy got you give you both some lovin's!

Mommy didn't get a report on the two of you, but I'll report back when I hear her funny stories.  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!

PS Mommy bought you both a package of Starburst candies, Daddy has you two trained to request treats ha/ha

Mommy forgot that I took pictures on my regular camera at Aunt Dianna's...so Mommy is including those pictures with today's blog :)  OH AND...AUNT DIANNA, DON'T THINK I DIDN'T NOTICE THAT YOU DELETED YOUR PICTURE FROM MY CAMERA, SUCKER!

Mortified Momma

Oh wow, where do I begin. Daddy made you two breakfast, eggs and toast.  Afterwards, Mommy got you both dressed and took a shower.  We were then off to Aunt Dianna's house, or "Aunt Dina or Aunt Diane," as you both call her.  Today was little Nora's 3rd birthday, and though we'll be attending her party this Saturday, her Mommy wanted to do something special for her today, her actual birthday :)  So, we walked down to help celebrate, we had lunch, played, and then took a walk.  Happy Happy Birthday Precious Baby Girl! :)  You two were in heaven...playmates to run around with, tons of food and sweets, and some outside time :)

After we got all you little monkey's rounded up, we went for a walk.  You two were doing well and expressed not wanting to take a nap, but your moods were saying something else ha/ha  Anyway, we cut through a yard and went into our backyard.  After everyone found all the Ms. Allie and Mr. Arlo poop, you all played in the backyard.  Dianna had to run an errand so I suggested that she leave her babes behind to make it easier.  Wellllllll, one thing lead to another, and well, you all were covered in mud.  It has rained so much, including today, and you two had a muddy blast!   Mommy felt so horrible and dreaded Dianna returning to three of her four children mud covered, but of course, she didn't care.  She walked her babes home.  Jude, you went inside with Daddy prior to Dianna returning. You were past tired.  Daddy tried rocking you but you wouldn't quit yelling for "Mommy!"  Mommy stripped off my clothes, and Bodhi's clothes and jumped into bed with you.  You instantly fell asleep.  Bodhi, you never did fall asleep.  Dianna's Dad, who I thought was Daddy locked out of the house, rang the front door bell, and Mommy had to hid behind the door because I didn't have any pants on ha/ha  Then I realized, "oh yeah, Jude has a hair appointment." Mommy tried waking you, Buddha, oh boy, you were not having it.  I managed to get you and your sister dressed.  Daddy had went and picked up dinner for us before returning to work.  We headed to Aunt Lacey Rudolph's :)

Aunt Lacey was so excited to see you both.  She talked about how super cute you both were :)  After some bribes of candy you got the most adorable little man cut :)  Aunt Lacey had to go get her little munchkins so we didn't stay and visit.  We headed straight to the grocery.  Mommy is trying to stock our cabinets and deep freezer to get us over this ridiculous grocery hump.  Groceries take a huge chunk out of our monthly budget, especially with two extra hounds and kitties!  Two hours later, $260.00 dollars spent, we headed home with a cart full!  Mommy still had items on our list to get, but we didn't have room in our cart and you two were starving for dinner, so we headed home.  When Daddy arrived home from work, he went back out and got the remaining items, $140.00 more dollars.  The sad thing about it, it wasn't much groceries really, UGGGGH!  While at the grocery store, Bodhi, you had your first "moment" at the store, that "moment" when you embarrassed your Momma beyond comprehension!!!  Now in hindsight, I know where you were coming from, but at the time I had no clue and was mortified...MORTIFIED!

So, here's the back story...When Mommy was your age and older, I always told Grandmoo that I wanted a black baby brother.  I begged every birthday and every holiday for Grandmoo to give me a black baby brother ha/ha  Recently, well, a couple of months back, Mommy and Daddy were talking about having another baby and/or adopting.  You two were of course some what included in the conversation  but I didn't think you guys were really paying all that close of attention ha!  Daddy said he wanted to adopt a little Asian baby, and Mommy told Daddy the story of how when I was little I always wanted a black baby brother and that we should adopt a black baby.  Secondly, you and your brother LOVE babies, but Bodhi, since Mommy strapped Rowan on the front of me, you have been beside yourself with jealousy.  You even told Mommy before going to Aunt Dianna's, "Mommy, is that where baby Rowan is?"  Yes, Bodhi, Baby Rowan is Aunt Dianna's baby daughter.  "Well Mommy, if you strap that baby to the front of you again, I'm going to be mad!"  BAHAHAHAHA!  Thirdly, Mommy has been experimenting or testing your observation skills, they say race is learned and that children don't notice skin color differences.  Mommy asked you the other day while watching tv..."Bodhi, do those two people look different to you?"  Mommy was asking you to observe the differences between a white guy and a black guy.  You responded, "No Mommy, they are both boys."  Wow!  Race is really learned...well, so I thought!...

So we are in the store going down the isles when you both laid eyes on a Momma and her baby.  Both of you started saying, "look Mommy, look at that little baby, awwwww!"  We smiled and you Bodhi, appeared to be trying to get a reaction from the little baby boy.  As we passed by you said, "Mommy, I don't like black babies!"  OH SHIT!  WTH?!?!  Mommy was shocked, stunned...mortified!  I mistakenly said, "What?"  And you of course repeated louder, "I DON'T LIKE BLACK BABIES!"  OMG!  These words coming from my sweet sweet baby girl, this goes against everything Mommy and Daddy stand for, everything we are trying to instill in the two of you!  Mommy didn't know what to say, so Mommy just told you that that was a very hurtful thing to say, and that you hurt people's hearts when you say you don't like them.  I was honestly at a lost for words!

So Mommy was telling Daddy about this embarrassing moment at the store, and he reminded Mommy that you had heard Mommy say that I wanted to adopt a black baby boy (which the baby was a black baby boy) combined with your recent jealousy, plus, the baby didn't react to you, this was you simply retaliating against Momma.  However, I'm still stunned that just out of the blue noticed skin color differences, where did that come from?

Anyway, Mommy put the groceries away, warmed dinner, and then Daddy helped get you two ready for bed.  You both were past exhausted. We had a super busy day, and a wonderful afternoon with the Rudd clan :)

Sweet Dreams my sweet sweet babes!

Sunday No Time for Recovery

Well, Mommy had hoped that Daddy would step it up and have a fun Sunday with you both while I took a "recovery" lazy day, yeah right!  Jude, you were bouncing on top of Mommy at 7am this morning, yelling, "Momma, Momma, Momma, I love you Momma!"  Mommy got you some apple juice and you headed back upstairs.  Mommy could hear you and your sister playing, and your Daddy occasionally yelling at you two.  It was about an hour later and Mommy took over.  Bodhi, you insisted that Mommy play instruments with you, of course ha/ha!  You played the recorder, Jude, you played the "Bob Dylan" or the harmonica, and Mommy banged on the xylophone :/  Mommy was about to barf everywhere and my head was pounding, but I still managed to function!  After our musical session, uggggh, we then played ball.  Bodhi, you love to play catch, and you really love when Mommy calls dodge ball and tags you and your brother :)  After playing Mommy made you both lunch, and then I hopped in the shower.  After I showered and you two played, Bodhi, you said you were ready for a nap.  Buddha, you actually napped!  We ALL actually napped :)  Well, Daddy worked on his work and watched the IU game, which he failed to tell Mommy IU was playing!

Mommy managed to watch part of the "Seven Psychopaths" that Franky had brought over, but fell asleep.  Bodhi, you awakened first, followed a few minutes later by your brother.  Buddha, you always come give Mommy hugs and cuddles when you awaken from your naps (AND I LOVE IT)!  You both told Mommy you were hungry (quite early this evening), so Mommy made us all soup and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...yes, quite the hangover dinner, but luckily you two LOVED it.  We are going to incorporate this dinner into our schedule more often, you two rarely eat all of your dinner, but you did tonight.  We then went to Jude's room, and Mommy watched one of her dvr shows, and then it was back to play time.  Mommy managed to feed and water the kitties, medicate the doggies, vacuum and mop while you two chased each other around.  When you two got bored, Mommy threw you both in the bath.  Oh how I love freshly lotioned baby butts!  Mommy was going to continue to clean, you and your Daddy made quite the mess upstairs last night :(  but you both were fussing and acting super exhausted.  Mommy tucked you both into bed and got busy on my work work.  Daddy was laying down in his office, he said he didn't want to get you both sick...he's sick.  So you Mommy gave you extra lovin's!  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes.

Mommy meant to take some bath time pictures, but you both needed extra grooming (nails and toe nails) and Mommy forgot :(  Nighty night my sweet babes!

Mommy's Girl's Night

Daddy left for work and Mommy jumped in the shower to get ready for work myself.  Mommy got you both dressed and fed, while packing up for work.  When Daddy arrived home from work, Mommy jumped in her car and headed to Frankfort to supervise a visit.  At first you both were upset that Mommy was leaving you, but you both quickly got over it :)

Daddy took over and played with you in your rooms and prepared you both lunch.  When Mommy returned home from work, I got busy making meatballs and a rum cake.  Once Mommy's party foods were made, I laid down for a quick nap myself.  Daddy passed out on the couch too, but he didn't get up when you both awakened from your naps.  Mommy occupied the two of you and played with you both up until it was time for Mommy's friends to start arriving.  Sister Kelly came early to play with and visit with you both prior to our Girl's night, and when she took to long to get here, Bodhi, you told Mommy to call her.  Mommy dialed the number and handed you the phone.  You were hilarious, it did sound like Mommy's was coaching you, but Mommy didn't say a word.  You asked Sister Kelly where she was and if she was still coming, and then you told her to "get her ass over here," oh my gosh!!  Sean Franky brought over a pre-released video for us to watch (he's got the Ariel Family Video hook-up).

All of Mommy's guest arrived: Laura, Samara, Lucy, Kelly, Dianna, and Brandi.  We ate, talked, laughed, and drank A LOT OF WINE!  We didn't end up getting to the video but had a great time just hanging out.  We discussed motherhood, politics, and religion (which we probably won't do in the future ha/ha).  Mommy had a great time, a much needed "Mommy's Night,"  and I hope that we continue to get together more regularly :) Such a diverse and inspiring group of women.

You two had a slumber party with Daddy upstairs, though Mommy had to return you, Buddha, back to your Daddy when you crashed the party (wearing your sister's dress ha/ha)!  Daddy always struggles to get you both to sleep :(

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

When we heard Sister Kelly arrive, you two hid under the blankets hee/hee :)

Friday Organizing

Good Morning Friday!  Mommy went to bed as soon as possible last night...I was looking forward to Thursday ending and a new start Friday :)  Jude man, you would not go to sleep and ended up sleeping with Mommy earlier than usual... oh well!  GiGi called this morning and reported that you two were good, despite Daddy reporting that GiGi looked fatigued and stressed ha/ha.

Bodhi, you reported that you have a job... you "work for GiGi making money at work" and you are now "like Mommy and Daddy."  GiGi gave you each jobs to do to earn money to feed your piggies with ha/ha  Jude, you got to help Gi-Pa change the furnace filter hee/hee  Bodhi, you were so proud of yourself!

Mommy was up at em' feeling great this morning.  I couldn't foresee today being any worse than yesterday, so I hoped :)  We had the music going, ate our breakfast and lunch together.  We were all happy people.  Daddy arrived home just after lunch, it's no secret Mommy has been less than thrilled with Daddy's "Daddy performance" lately, but we were glad to see him home.  Mommy had the wash going (Bodhi, you had an accident through the night and Mommy had to wash your bedding), and we were rocking the upstairs cleaning. You two were playing in Jude's room (re-arranging furniture) while Mommy cleaned Bodhi's stinky room and Mommy's furry dog hair room ha/ha!   Once Daddy arrived home Mommy asked that Daddy play with you two in an attempt to get cleaning and organizing done. addy occupied the two of you for about an hour in his office so that I could get some serious toy organizing done, but that didn't last as long as I needed it to.  Daddy decided he was going to take a nap, and so the two of you were back upstairs with me...thanks Daddy!

Oh yes, how could I forget...our cleaning was postponed when we received a call from the lady leasing our house first thing this morning. She thought a sewer pipe had busted in the basement.  Mommy just about died!  The lady is supposed to reimburse us for all repairs, but she has no money, uggggh!  Mommy called Gardner's and he headed over right away.  Luckily it was just a pipe needing snaked.  Thank YOU LORD!  Mommy was stressing and trying to stay focused on getting the two of your rooms cleaned prior to nap time, while keeping all phones nearby, but Mommy wasn't getting much done until Gardner's finally declared "no major catastrophe."

Anyway, you two opted out of a nap today, but like I said, Daddy didn't.  So Mommy managed the two of you while finishing up our bedroom cleaning spree.  Mommy has been putting off and has been wanting to get to our bathroom cabinets.  Daddy unpacked them when we moved in, but they've never been cleaned out or organized.  Well, Mommy got to them today!  (the upstairs bathroom anyway) They are sparkling clean and organized, Mommy is going to make some labels so "Tart" Daddy will know where everything goes ha/ha  FYI, we substitute the word "tart" for the word "retarded," yes I know, it's still mean, but you two don't know we substituted it, you just think it's a funny word for not being smart ha/ha

Mommy sent Daddy to fill up my car with gas so it'll be ready for work in the morning, and when he returned I then had him throw some chicken nuggets and french fries in the oven for dinner (Mommy forgot to thaw out the chicken legs, oooops).  Mommy continued to clean, replace bedding, feed the kitties, medicate the doggies, and then prepared our plates for dinner time.  We all had dinner together as a family (Daddy included tonight) and then it was off to dreamland.  You two were exhausted, as is Mommy.  Mommy did manage to get Norah's and Rowan's birthday presents ordered...we are going to their birthday party at Aunt Dianna's next Saturday :)  Tomorrow Mommy is having some girlfriends over for some much needed girl time :)  Daddy will be hiding/sleeping with you two while Mommy entertains downstairs :)

Sweet Dreams my sweet sweet babes!  Mommy didn't take any pictures today...well, I sent Dianna a picture text of our bathroom cabinets and rooms ha/ha but I doubt you two will care to see them when looking back and reading your daily blog entries as adults :) Don't let the beg bugs bite!

PS Jude man, you wore your sister's princess dress all day again today :)-

Crazy Thursdays Are Back

It's been a while since we had a wild and crazy Thursday, but it appears that they are back again :(  This morning started out horribly and only got progressively worse.  Mr. Arlo puked on our white carpet twice, Jude man "fire hosed" our rug, Ms. Allie had a nervous potty accident, and Bodhi, you had an accident on our couch.  Mommy had the spotbot out non-stop today, and I only grew more and more frustrated, the accidents kept coming.  Mommy decided to declare war.  I broke down and started a deep clean on our downstairs, cleaning carpets, dusting, vacuuming etc... you two played and occupied yourselves, even adding additional messes during Mommy's cleaning frenzy.

At lunch time, Bodhi, you insisted that Mommy slow dance with you, and Jude, you of course got mad and Mommy decided it was nap time.  Buddha, you didn't nap today.  You had Mommy pulling her hair out, and every time I would put you back to bed, you would say, "Mommy I need this, I need that," none of which you got.  Well, you would always end with, "Mommy I need a hug," that you got.

Mommy cleaned non-stop up until it was time to get you two dressed to go to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's.  Mommy was wore out but relieved our downstairs was sparkling clean again.  Mommy was also so happy to hand you, Jude, over to GiGi and Gi-Pa, with well wishes.  Mommy of course hugged and kissed you both goodbye, but boy what a relief it was to go to work today.  Mommy believes our "Crazy Thursdays" are back because I'm working again.  Mommy didn't work for about four weeks, no referrals, and so you two were use to being home 7 days a week, 24/7 with your Momma.  Well, you punished Mommy today...nothing but "tudes," messes, and tantrums, for Momma today.  Jude, you apparently stinkered yourself out early, because Bodhi, you were the stinker at GiGi's and Gi-Pa's this evening.

Daddy picked you both up and brought you home, tucked you both into bed, and settled in for the night.  GiGi had called Mommy to let Mommy know that you, Ms. Bodhi, were being "contrary" and wouldn't put a pull-up on, but she had forgot to tell Daddy.  Mommy sent Daddy a text and he immediately went upstairs to put you in a pull-up, but you had already "had an accident," while you were wide awake.  What in the world????

Mommy arrived home super late, only to go back out to run an errand for our tenant at our old house.  I then went and gave you, Ms. Bodhi, a goodnight kiss and hug.  Jude man, you will be in ommy's bed in a matter of a couple of hours...I'm not waking you :)  Sweet Dreams, stinker babes!

GiGi said she didn't manage to get any pictures...I totally understand why!

Little LIzzie Lou :) & IU

Aunt Ti sent Mommy a text first thing this morning to call her when I was up.  Mommy called and Aunt Ti tried getting out of our Lizzie play date, stating it was too cold ha/ha!  Lizzie begged her Mommy and Aunt Ti of course caved and agreed to drop her off for the morning.  You two were super excited, and you kept asking, "Mommy, is Lizzie not coming over?"  Aunt Ti reported that Lizzie got cold feet on their way into town, but Aunt Ti was able to get her back on track to play at our house :)

Bodhi, you started off good, but quickly became possessive of your Momma, and then of your toys.  Jude man, you were a perfect gentleman, offering your toys and playing nicely :)  You all eventually meshed and had a great time.  You guys played dolls, ball, and built an amazing Lego castle.  For lunch, the only thing you could all agree on was macaroni and cheese, so macaroni and cheese it was!  Before we knew it, it was nap time...1pm, and Aunt Ti had arrived to retrieve her little Lizzie Lou.  Aunt Ti ended up staying and visiting for about an hour.  Aunt Ti said it was nice to have some time with her Momma, visiting, and running errands by herself :)  We all had a great time and Mommy suggested having a play date more regularly.  Aunt Ti is learning to relax, as she expressed so ha/ha, Aunt Ti always has a kid or three attached to her hee/hee!

After Aunt Ti and Lizzie made their way home, you two went down for a nap.  WE took a LONG nap :)  Once we all decided to get up, Mommy made sloppy joes, slop, sloppy, joes, with potatoes and green beans.  We were all sitting at the dining room table when the doorbell rang.  It was Grandpa Kurt.  I'm beginning to think that Grandpa has the same "food sense" that Sean Franky has ha/ha.  No matter what time we are having dinner, Grandpa manages to show up.  Grandpa gets frustrated that he always interrupts our dinner, but we enjoy having him over for dinner.  You two always talk Grandpa into eating with us :)

Grandpa missed the first ten minutes of the IU game to play with you both up in your room.  Anytime a visitor shows up, you two immediately insist on taking them to your room ha/ha  You two eventually came downstairs doing everything you could to distract the big people from watching the IU game, and you managed to get your fill of attention :)  You both also pooped out toward the end of the game and Mommy took you upstairs and tucked you into bed.  Buddha, oh boy, you kept getting back up and saying, "Mommy, I want you!"  "Mommy's bed."  Mommy exhausted for some reason, gave in and we went nighty night together :)

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!

Oh yeah, you ALL dressed up like princesses too :)-

Pink Princess Lizzie :)

We didn't have a crown for Mommy's future little hair stylist boy, so we had to pin "My Little Pony's" crown to the top of your head ha/ha

Jude built the green castle, Bodhi built the blue castle, and Lizzie built the yellow and red castles. Mommy attached them all together :)

Liar Liar

I
Mommy awakened still disturbed by yesterday's vet visit ha/ha, however Mommy quickly moved on and enjoyed a nice Cinnamon Toast Crunch breakfast with two of my favorite people in the whole world.  Mommy was still awaiting word as to what time Mommy would be supervising a visit in Lafayette for work, so between checking emails and text messages, we enjoyed our morning together.  You both were excited to get to Grandmoo's, just as you are always excited to go to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's house on Thursdays.

Buddha, oh boy, you got several time-outs and a few spanks on your bum the first half of your day!  You made huge messes everywhere you went!  You dipped your sister's Barbie doll's hair in Bodhi's potty, oh wait...your sister "lied on you" and you got a time-out for something your sister did.  Buddha, you always admit to things you've done wrong, and even to things you hadn't done, so when you told me today that your sister was actually the one the that dipped her Barbie in her potty, Mommy knew you weren't lying.  "Oh Bodhi, tell Mommy the truth, who dipped Barbie in the potty?"  "Mommy, I'm sorry, I did it."  We had a long talk about lying to save ourselves and how Buddha must have felt getting punished for something he didn't do.  You apologized to Buddha and took a time-out, but were praised for telling the truth.  So, back to your messes Buddha...you spit your entire sippie cup of juice all over your sister's floor, unwrapped an entire roll of toilet paper all over your sister's room, threw the  we entire container of wooden blocks all over your sister's room...do we see a pattern yet?  Yep, you tore up your sister's room, I think retribution for your sister "lying on you." Ha!

Mommy was thankful for nap time to arrive for you Buddha, ha, yeah right!  You would not go to sleep for anything, despite your tired red eyes wanting rest!  Bodhi, you took a short nap :) While you two were "napping," Mommy ran outside to scoop frozen poop.  Frozen poop is so much more pleasant ha/ha...trying to be optimistic about this freezing weather :)  When I came inside, Buddhag, you were talking to yourself, or so I thought.  I heard you yell, as you were running up the stairs, "Mommy's back, go, go, go!" Bahahahahaha!  Mommy saw a glimpse of Bodhi's door shutting, and you diving into your bed!  Sucker!

Work time couldn't have came quick enough :)  Mommy dumped you two off at Grandmoo's where you, Buddha, got yourself into some more trouble!  You both had a great time and were passed out by the time Mommy arrived home.  Sweet Sweet dreams!

"I think I'll sit on your head!"

Dancing The Night Away

You two awakened this morning and headed downstairs, Daddy sat you both out some yogurt on the dining room table (you two had a bit of a mess), so when I came downstairs and noticed that Daddy had left you two to eat by yourselves, I sat with the two of you as you ate your breakfast.  Both of you requested Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal when you finished your yogurt, so Mommy poured us all a bowl :)  Mommy kept waiting and waiting for Daddy to go to work ha/ha, but nope, he never did.  So Mommy finally asked Daddy if he was ever going to go to work, "today is Martin Luther King Day," Daddy responded.   OHHHH!!! And President Barrack Obama's Inauguration, which Mommy missed while playing with you two :(  I'll catch a recap of it later though.  So, Mommy weekend nightmare with Daddy was extended to Monday, uggggh!  Daddy better get his head out of his ass or Mommy is going to do a "safe drop..."  drop Daddy's ass off at the Rudd's or one of his friend's house so he'll be safe!

Anyway,  our morning and afternoon was pretty typical, other than Mommy doesn't get as much accomplished when Daddy's home, it seems kind of pointless but I'll be nice and shut up ha/ha!!!

After battling you, Jude, once again, to take a nap, you eventually fell asleep after 100 attempts and threats :)-.  Bodhi, you said you wanted a nap and went right to sleep.  Mommy decided I might as well watch a movie and try to fall asleep too :)

After our naps, Mommy warmed up your guy's dinner and Daddy took the hounds to the vet.  Mommy figured out away to pay for it, at least temporarily ha/ha  Mommy never imagined that a routine follow-up for both hounds, and some additional ear drops for Mr. Arlo and Ms. Allie's normal pain meds would cost a whopping $500.00!  Yes, that's right.  Mommy felt homicidal and sick all at once.  WTF Jefferson Road Animal Hospital, seriously?  Well, Mommy started examining the bill right away. Mommy had called to find out the price of Ms. Allie's blood test prior to her appointment and I was told $32.00 dollars! Well, they charged us $96, and when I brought it their attention, they didn't fix it.  Mommy was HOT! They also charged us a routine re-check for $41.00 ummm NO!  I do love the care the hounds receive, but they are a little excessive  and with no breaks, we'll be probably looking for a new vet, once again!

Anyway, after the rage left my body, and after dinner was eaten, dishes cleaned, cats fed, and dogs medicated, you two went upstairs with Mommy to watch an inappropriate PG13 movie ha/ha "Pitch Perfect," another recommendation from Aunt Ti.  Mommy figured you two would only pay attention with the music was playing and the actors were singing, and I of course was right.  You two were so hysterical, Bodhi, you get so serious and get down with it ha/ha  Jude, you follow your sister's lead, but you eventually go into your own moves, which are also hysterical!

You guys worked up an appetite from dancing and asked for a cereal snack.  Mommy took you both downstairs and you both had a bowl of cereal and a yogurt!  Mommy made you both a sippie cup of water (Bodhi, we can't break you of having water at bedtime, which always resorts in either a heavy pee-soaked pull-up or wet sheets).  You two then went to sleepy town at about 10:15 p.m.  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!

Sunday Sunday

Oh Baby, Baby, Baby!  Good morning my little sunshine's,  say what?  Your Daddy won't get up with you?  Uggggh!  Daddy spent yet another day locked in his office sleeping and watching games, and that's after going to bed at 7:30 p.m. last night.  It's going to take Daddy a good long while to get himself out the dog house this time!    Daddy now reports that he is sick, so Mommy shut his doors and we started our day. You  had yogurt, Lucky Charms aka "Wally" cereal Jude man, and Bodhi, you had a yogurt with a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, like your Momma :)  You told Mommy that it was your favorite, and you ended up having two bowls hee/hee

After breakfast, fixing the hounds up, we got busy playing.  You two danced, we played ball, and two played dolls together :)  You also helped Mommy trick Mr. Arlo into going upstairs for a treat...so that Mommy could give him his weekly medicated bath.  Mommy can carry the 65 lb. hog up the stairs, but I prefer he walk and that I only lift him into the tub.  Which, after about 15 minutes, we managed to get him in the bathroom.  Bodhi, you opted to go play in your room, but Buddha, you stayed right beside Mommy, asking questions, handing me items, and laughing as Mommy gave Mr. Arlo a bath.  He's all brand new now :)  His ears and skin are much better, however, he finished his antibiotics but now one of his ears now smells of rotten milk (a great improvement, but still not right).  Mommy has to figure out a way to get him back into the vet for some additional ear meds, as well as Ms. Allie some more pain meds.  These hounds are a wreck I tell you!

You both helped Mommy with lunch, and begged for cottage cheese ha/ha so you two had a large side helping of cottage cheese with your lunch.  You two LOVE cottage cheese.  After lunch, Bodhi, you told Mommy that you wanted to take a nap today (Mommy now allows you to decide), however Buddha flat out refused.  Buddha, I put you back to bed 15 times before you finally fell asleep.  Mommy then took a shower and watched my baseball movie.  I fell asleep and apparently, you Ms. Bodhi, awakened and started playing in your room.  You came and awakened Mommy, asking Mommy to dress your Barbies.  Mommy then got up with you and played.  Buddha, you got up a little while later.  Mommy had prepared a crock pot dinner for us this morning, and you two were smelling it and expressed being hungry for dinner.

So, we, us three, had a nice dinner together.  Mommy ran and picked up a vanilla coke (I was dying for one, and yes I was nice and got Daddy one...he's lucky I didn't put pepper in it!).  After dinner you two helped Mommy do a load of laundry, Mommy fed the kittens, and you two helped load the dishwasher.  Mommy then got busy cleaning our dirty kitchen while you two ran up and down the stairs yelling, screaming, and giggling.  Mommy made yet another quick trip to return the baseball movie, since Daddy wasn't going to watch it, and then returned home to give you both a bath.  We then played, but Bodhi, you said you were tired, so Mommy called it a night.  Buddha, you again refused to go to sleep.  You have been laying next to me asleep as I write these blog entries for the past two hours hee/hee.  You are such a sucker!

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!  You two were again the best little Mommy helpers.  You amaze Mommy everyday!  You are such special babes!

Bath time fun :)-

Jude, you and your sister always lay your heads on my leg while I blow dry your hair, well, Ms. Allie rested her head on your leg... she is "your" dog :)

Silly Faces ha/ha!!!

Buddha you love to sit on your sister's lap :)

Mommy's Little Helpers

Daddy was up and out by 8am this morning for his two hour batterers session.  We followed shortly after.  We headed downstairs to have breakfast together, clean up after Daddy's mess, let the doggies out, give the doggies their medicine, and start a load of laundry.  You two are Momma's best little helpers.  Mommy then jumped in the shower while you two played.

After Daddy arrived home, Mommy headed to Sam's Club for round one of stocking our cupboards and fridge.  $219.00 dollars later, we have food!  Mommy came home to find messes (of course, Daddy was with you two), and two babes not yet asleep.  Daddy laid on the couch while Mommy unloaded a ton of groceries into the house, organized and cleaned out our cabinets, fridge, and freezer, and then put all the groceries away (this was the start of Daddy entering the dog house).  Mommy got you both back to bed, told Daddy he needed to pay attention because I was again leaving (Bodhi, you have managed to sneak out of the house while Daddy was sleeping before so Mommy always makes sure Daddy's knows when I'm leaving), and then I headed to the store.  On my way to the store, I decided to drop in on Aunt Ti.  Mommy has missed Aunt Ti so much (she's been busy remodeling her home...all by herself, as well as nursing her babes and herself over the flu and cold bugs), so Mommy drove out to Greentown to check in on Aunt Ti.  Aunt Ti was happy to see Mommy, as was little-BIG Andrew, sweet baby girl Lizzie, Ellie, and Victoria.  Mommy got to see everything Aunt Ti has done as well as catch-up with everyone :)  Mommy was so happy she made time to visit with Aunt Ti!  Lizzie might be coming to visit us Wednesday :)  YAY!

After visiting with Aunt Ti, Mommy then headed to the grocery store for round two.  Mommy was a little nervous, not having received a phone call from Daddy asking where I was, but I made my way to the grocery hoping everything at home was okay, and hoping that you two were still asleep.  Well, $140.00 later, we now have everything we need for three good meals a day for at least the next couple of weeks.  Mommy again carried in all the groceries and put everything away.  You two were super excited to see Momma, and Bodhi, you helped me put all the soup away.  You said here Momma, and unloaded every single can, and then you helped with the yogurt :)  Mommy started dinner and Bodhi, you again asked, "Mommy can I help you please," well of course you can you super sweet little precious girl!  You rolled the rolls on the hot-dogs.  Yeah, Mommy opted for a fast meal hee/hee  Did I mention how I HATE to grocery shop?!?!

After dinner, Daddy decided not to join us (deeper and deeper into the dog house), you two started running around and playing.  Mommy told Aunt Dianna that I would stop by and look at her newly painted dining room (Mommy had helped scrape the wallpaper off those walls a few time), and well now they are completely done Dianna's begun painting.  So, Mommy ran down the street and checked out the orange paint, it looks amazing! :)  Then Mommy ran to the nearest Redbox and picked up "Trouble with The Curve Ball," well, I think that's the name of it.  Aunt Ti recommended it and it was great, reminded me of by childhood at the ballpark with Grandpa Kurt :)  I didn't actually watch it until Sunday though.

Mommy got you both to bed, tucked in tight :) and then I wrote yesterday's blog entry.  I then headed to bed myself :)  It was a matter of a couple of hours before you joined me Jude Liam...you are such a little sucker.

Sweet Dreams!

Wake Up! We Have Company :)

This morning you two awakened, and Bodhi, you immediately started asking about your Valentine's craft project.  Mommy had whispered to you last night that I had a surprise craft project for you to do in the morning.  Well, you certainly didn't forget, so after after a bowl of cereal, you two got busy :)  You two decorated hearts and we decorated our dining room hutch with them.

After our crafts, after running around the house, and after lunch, you two went down for a nap.  Aunt Dianna sent Mommy a text message asking if three of her four precious little ones could come stay with us while she and Dakota donated their hair.  Mommy agreed, and was super excited for you two to wake from your naps so that you could play with your surprise playmates :) Mommy was about to wake you two when Aunt Dianna, Nathan, Norah, and baby Rowan arrived.  Mommy fed Baby Ro, and then we all headed upstairs to wake you both up.  Bodhi, you were actually sitting on your bed and you immediately said, "Awwww Baby," when Mommy walked into your room  with Ro on my hip.  Buddha, you were passed out.  You didn't awaken even after Mommy and the entire gang entered your room. When you did come to, you were so confused. Both you and your sister were glued to Baby Ro. You two brought her toys, talked to her... you two were just enthralled with Baby Ro. After playing inside, Nathan wanted to go outside.  So, we all got bundled up and Mommy went to strap Ro on the front of me with her sling, and you Bodhi, went into meltdown.  You even told Mommy you were jealous!!!  You said, "take her off, your my Momma."  It was so sweet and sad, but Mommy had to carry Ro, and so you continued in meltdown.  Daddy arrived home and you remained in meltdown.  Daddy stayed outside and played with Norah, Jude, and Nathan, Mommy took you, Bodhi, and Ro inside.  You eventually settled down. After two hours of great playtime, Aunt Dianna arrived to pick her babes up.  Bodhi, you couldn't have been more relieved.  You had a great time up until Mommy strapped Ro to me.

The rest of the night was spent playing per our usual nightly routine.  We ended our night with a bang however!  Bodhi, you asked Mommy to curl up with you and watch Shrek, so you, Buddha, and Mommy headed upstairs and had a Shrek cuddle session.  Sean Franky showed up right as Shrek was ending, and oh boy you two got a second wind.  An hour and a half later, you two finally went to bed.  Daddy slept through Franky's visit, and you two running around like little crazy people.  You two were both so sad to see Franky leave :)

Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!

Craft time :)

Our craft project from the other night :)

Bodhi, Mommy taught you how to vogue a couple of weeks back... you busted out in "vogue" during craft time, and at lunch ha/ha :)

Bubby struck a pose too....there's nothing to it, vogue, vogue, vogue!

Precious little moment!

Buddha's favorite time of the day...lunch time!  The boy will not gain weight though.  Buddha eats it, and Bodhi and Mommy gain it...so not fair!  You are perfect though Bodhi girl!
