Busy Busy Monday

Bodhi, Bodhi, Bodhi!  You got up every hour last night, sometimes a couples within an hour!  I don't know what was going on with you, but man oh man you would not go to sleep. You even managed to wake your brother at about 2am.  Mommy had to get him and put him in bed with Mommy and Daddy.  We eventually took over and Daddy went downstairs to try and get some rest.  You kept getting up and eventually ended up in bed with Mommy and Jude.  You kept rubbing Jude's head and waking him, so Mommy put him in his crib.  You eventually fell asleep, and you did not want to get up this morning.

After Mommy managed to get you up and going, Daddy took over and got you and your brother dressed and off to Aunt Ti's.  Mommy had an early start to the work day and had to be in court in Marion.  Mommy worked ALL day, as did Daddy.  Aunt Ti reported that you were good little babes, but that this was Jude's week for injuries :(  Buddha, you had a couple bruises on your forehead.  Bodhi, you were talking up a storm when Mommy arrived to pick you up.  On our way home, Mommy kept turning down the radio thinking that you were trying to tell me something, but it turns out you were singing!  You were so precious!  Buddha, you kept watching your sister and smiling.

Once home, Mommy put the gate up blocking the stairs, and Mr. Arlo in his chair with a gate blocking him.  Then you two ran all over playing, screaming, and having a good time.  Mommy started painting the dining room.  You two decided to pile up all the plastic tarps, as well as all the blankets you two could find :)  You two were having a ball jumping in the plastic.  After Mommy got you, Buddha, to stop putting the plastic over your head, you two were on a roll.  Daddy arrived home shortly after we did and made you both a snack.  Mommy went with her original instincts and painted the dining room a whimsical shade of apple green aka "highlighter yellow" according to Franky.  Mommy is certain that no one has ever bought and used this paint color before ha/ha!  Mommy had a moment of doubt, but I'm  certain I picked the PERFECT color!  It looks amazing!  It still needs a second coat, but all the hard work is done :)

Buddha, Mommy rocked you to sleep, and Bodhi, Daddy put you to bed. Again tonight, you got up at least six times in a two hour period.  Mommy finally got you down and asleep :)  Hopefully, you stay there the rest of the night.  I think you sleep walk, just like your Momma.  Sweet dreams my sweet babes.  Tomorrow, you both get to spend the morning with Grandmoo while Mommy and Daddy work :)  You two were super excited when I told you both you were going to Grandmoo's house tomorrow.  You both started yelling "Grandma" and "Mamaw!"

Pictures from Aunt Ti's.... Mommy was too busy painting, but I should have made time to take a picture of you two playing in your plastic/blanket pile!

Buddha, checking things out :)

Super Bowl Sunday

Today was super bowl Sunday and given that it is in Indianapolis this year, a lot of fanfare has been made of it all. GiPa says it is a millionaire’s party, and we’re convinced he is right; the average cost of a ticket for the game is reportedly $3800.00. Daddy says it is a marker on the fate of America’s future.
GiPa and GiGi stopped by to visit for a short visit this morning when they brought the newspaper over for us to read. Both of you, Bodhi and Buddha, threw an absolute fit when they leftL. Poor GiGi so worries about the two of you crying, she is afraid to stop by for just a short visit. You two are stinkers!
Mommy got to sleep in just a little bit this morning, Daddy tried to entertain the two of you for a while, and then Mommy got up and made all of us a great breakfast of eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy! After GiGi and GiPa stopped by, all of us (including Arlo) went to Foster Park and played for a while. You both absolutely love going to the park, and Buddha you not only fearlessly went down the intermediate slide twice by yourself, you even went down once head firstJ. Bodhi, you went down the slide first, and we didn’t realize how wet it was and you got drenched so Mommy had to run you home and change your clothes. While the two of you were gone, Arlo climbed up on the play fortress and went down the winding slide! J ! After you and Mommy got back, we played a while longer (Buddha you didn’t want to be on the swingL, but Bodhi you love to swingJ).
After the park, we drove our two vehicles through the car wash, Daddy took Mommy’s car with the two of you, and Mommy took Daddy’s car with Arlo. Daddy talked to the two of you the whole time our car was going through the wash bay, because the two of you were frightened once before, but this time you were both just fine.
We went home for our naps, but Buddha you wouldn’t have any part of it, so Daddy took you out “antiquing” while Mommy got some work done and while you finished your nap, Bodhi. Daddy went through the drive up at McDonald’s and got the two of you some dinner to bring home, and shortly after getting home, Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron and Brother Sean Franky joined us to watch the first half of the super bowl. We asked GiGi and GiPa and Grandmoo to come over but they wanted to stay at home snug for the night. By half-time, the two of you were ready for “night-night” and the both of you went to bed happy and tiredJ!
Mommy got some sad news tonight from PaPaw, that Sammy the beagle hound had to be put down and that his beagle pal, Sadie, was grieving without her buddy, they had always been together. We definitely know how PaPaw is feeling, and we understand what Sadie is going through because Arlo is doing the sameL
We send you our love, PaPaw, we wish we could see you more often that we do, but we certainly think of you often (like every time we look at Buddha, because he is a spittin’ image of his Mommy and you, PaPaw!). “Night, night” everyone! Peace and love.

Family Time

Ok, Mommy has a confession.... each night when it's time to write the blog, Mommy is so darn tired and my brain is not fully functioning.  Every morning I remember something that I should have written in the previous night's blog entry.  Mommy is going to try to figure out a way to do the blog in the morning, rather than each night.  Except, I don't know how that is exactly going to work out since our mornings are crazy and Mommy hates mornings ha/ha.  Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS DIANNA SPRAY RUDD!!!!  February 3rd at 10:52 a.m., 9.7lbs and 21 inches long, baby girl, Rowan, entered the world!  She's beautiful and a definite keeper :) Dianna is Mommy's long-time friend from elementary school.  Dianna was the first person to ever spend the night with Mommy when I was a little girl :)  Dianna and her family are soon to be moving right down the street into a beautiful brick home, one that Mommy and Daddy wanted to buy so bad, but we were quite certain it was in the budget to convert it back to a single family home.  So there will be lots of future walks and time at the park with the Rudd clan.  Bodhi, Dianna's kids are the kids you thought had hurt Jude at the park hee/hee

Anyway, today GiGi came over to get her baby fix!  She brought you two blueberries and played with you both while Mommy organized the craft room.  Mommy joined in and played for a while, and also served you both breakfast and lunch.  You two love your GiGi time.  Each of you had some cuddle time with GiGi, which seems to rarely occur anymore!  GiGi was so happy that you each wanted to cuddle.  Buddha, you are the "lovingest" little guy!  Mommy gets around a hundred kisses a day from you.  You both opened that little package from Aunt Debbie.  Aunt Debbie made you, Bodhi, the cutest scarf and hat :)   Buddha, Aunt Debbie made you a football hat, and you look so stinkin' ornery and adorable in it!  Aunt Debbie also sent you both a Valentine's Day card, candy, and doggy/kitty key chain!  She sure did spoil you both.  You loved your gifts, Bodhi, you wore your scarf and hat inside for a couple of hours.  GiGi finally made you take them off and she said she could feel the heat radiating off of you hee/hee  Unfortunately, Mommy wasn't on the ball and didn't get a picture of you two in your styling hats and scarf, nor did I manage to get any pictures of you with GiGi :(

After GiGi time and after an afternoon nap, Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron came by to visit.  Sister Kelly helped get Mommy's and Daddy's phones all set up and Brother Aaron played and teased you both :)  Sister Kelly gets you, Bodhi, to be so mean to brother Aaron hee/hee She gets you to blame him for everything!  You both loved your Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron time.

This evening, Mommy went to work for about an hour and after working, picked up some Arby's for dinner.  That's another issue... Mommy has got to get back to meal planning and cooking.  All this eating out is not good for any of us!  After dinner Mommy threw you both in the bath.  We didn't get to our Friday night bath, so Mommy promised you we would take a bath today.  You two were so excited about bath time.  It's so funny... Bodhi, you said "Daddy bath, all clean!"  You LOVE to "get all clean!"  After baths Mommy took you, Bodhi, and put you in your bed.  Buddha, you wanted to lay with Bo Bo, so Mommy put you on the bed with her.  Bodhi, you were smiling ear to ear.  If only Bubby was a little older, Mommy would let him sleep with you.  You wanted Bubby to sleep with you so bad :)  You put your little arm around him and gave him a kiss.

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

Sister Kelly made a blankey diaper for you... you thought it was so funny :)

Sister Kelly adding yet another blankey :)

Bo Bo's Boo Boo On Happy Friday

Oh what a day, thank goodness it's Friday!  You both went to Aunt Ti's, a little late of course.  Mommy is always running behind when she has to get you two ready and transported without any help from Daddy.  Buddha, you insisted on taking two of your sister's dolls with you :)  Mommy worked and worked and worked.  Mommy's client not only had a laundry list of things we had to get done, but also needed help with homework, uggggh!   It is a rewarding career though!  You two had a great day, well, aside from your major accident Bo, which nearly caused Aunt Ti to have a heart attack!  Bodhi, you were playing with Aunt Ti's bench seat in her kitchen.  Aunt Ti spotted you and was slowly approaching you, as to keep you from making any sudden movements, but she arrived a second too late.  You cut your finger clean off... Aunt Ti had to glue it back on hee/hee  She thought she might have to take you to the hospital for stitches, but the super glue along with some kisses did the trick :)

Mommy picked you both up this evening.  You both were super excited and gave Mommy hugs.  Buddha, you decided to fall off Aunt Ti's bench seat right as we were leaving.  Bodhi, Mommy, and Aunt Ti gave you kisses and you recovered pretty quickly.  Mommy then took you two to Joann Fabrics to pick up some supplies for a project Mommy wants to do :)  Then we walked over to Big Lots.  Bodhi, you spotted an adorable blue bunny and you of course begged Mommy to get it.  It's not a toy, but like your blue ceramic pig, you adored the bun bun.  After shopping, Mommy had to run home and post my homework assignment, I had completely forgotten.  Mommy then took you both to visit Grandmoo.  Grandmoo had stopped over last night, but you two were asleep :(  Mommy decided we needed to drop-in on her for a visit :)  She was so happy to see you both.  You two were SUPER excited to see Grandmoo!  Next week you both will be visiting Aunt Ti Monday (all day), Grandmoo Tuesday morning, Daddy Wednesday (all day),  GiGi and Gi-Pa Thursday morning, and Aunt Ti again Friday!  A full week with some variety.  However, we have a fun weekend a head of us :)  Hopefully Sister Kelly will get to feeling better so she can see you both.   We should be seeing Sean Franky and Ariel this weekend too!  If only Bubby Ryan and Holly would stop in!

Sweet dreams my sweet exhausted babes.  Mommy is so tired and hopeful that you two will decide to sleep in tomorrow morning.  Fingers crossed!!!!  I missed you both today so much!!!

Oh AND Mommy saw that Aunt Debbie sent you two double suckers a package :)  You'll open it tomorrow.... that is, if Mommy can resist opening it until tomorrow.  Mommy sent Cousin Abby, who is expecting, your guy's old play yard :)

You Are My Sunshine

Good morning super precious babes!  Mommy loves getting you two up in the morning. You both are so happy to start your day hee/hee unlike Mommy, who just wants extra sleep!  I love seeing your smiling faces and the "MOMMA" shouts, which quickly turn to "Bo Bo and Buddha" shouts :)  You both want to see each other as soon as you wake up, it's so darn cute.  Anyway, Mommy can't help but to start each day with a smile, you two are my sunshine!   Mommy got you both dressed and ready to go to Aunt Ti's, and Daddy drove and dropped you two off.

One of Mommy's client's cancelled today :( so I took the opportunity to work on the dining room.  Mommy worked forever on it and It's now all primed and ready to be painted.  However, I'm liking the tinted primer color so I'm rethinking my paint choice.  I was going for a very whimsical look, but the primer color blends nicely with the foyer.... what to do, what to do?  Mommy also managed to get all the laundry washed, dried, folded and put away, not to mention cleaned up my painting mess as well as our kitchen mess.  Daddy worked all day and came home just after 6pm.  He helped Mommy unload you two once we arrived home from Aunt Ti's.  Aunt Ti reported you two had another great day!  YAY!

Once home Mommy had Daddy order a Pizza King pizza and breads ticks.  You both had already eaten, but you couldn't resist pizza and bread sticks :)  Sean Franky stopped by and visited for a while.  Sister Kelly was supposed to. come over but she didn't end up making it.  She says she misses her "baybees"  so she'll definitely be by this weekend.

Buddha, you went to sleep while Mommy was rocking you and are fast asleep now.  Bodhi, you negotiated "one more" cartoon before going to bed, so you are awake in your bed watching it now.  Sweet dreams my sweet babes.  Mommy missed you both so much today.

Oh and Mommy forgot to mention in yesterday's entry, I bought a drawer and a bunch of decorative wood pieces to make Mr. Arlo a bed.  Mommy was pricing them online and was shocked they run $300 to $600 dollars... so Mommy will make her own!  Mommy is also making a birdcage chandelier for my craft room, but I think I'm going to do two at different heights.  Mommy loves projects!

Ceiling painted and walls finally primed and ready to be painted!

You're an animal Bodhi! :)-

Sweet baby boy!

Ellie and Buddha chillin' :)  in Bodhi's seat!  I don' t know how you two got away with sitting in Ms. Bodhi's chair!

GiGi and Gi-Pa... Now That's A GREAT Day!

As expected, you two were super excited and in super good moods to find out that Daddy had gave up his Daddy day and that you two were going on a special adventure to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's!  Mommy was in a hurry to get to work this morning, nothing new there, I'm always running behind, so I forgot to send the camera with GiGi.  It's a shame too, you all played outside and went to the PARK!  It was a beautiful day out :)  Daddy's back is still bothering him and honestly, I haven't talked to him much today so I don't know what he did to report it.  Bodhi, I was told the most precious story about you today!  GiGi called everyone to let them know what a good big sis you are :)  GiGi was swinging Ju Ju on a swing at the park and you were playing on the equipment with Gi-Pa when you heard your brother crying.  GiGi said Gi-Pa told her you immediately jumped up and did your "Daddy walk" right over to where Jude was swinging (next to several other children) and you started waiving your little finger at the other children and yelling at them.  GiGi said no one knew what you were saying but you were HOT!  You had thought one of them hurt your little brother.  GiGi quickly explained that they didn't do anything to Buddha, that he had fallen by himself, you then quickly went to him and started loving on him.  You are so precious and you love your little brother soooooo much!

When GiGi told Grandmoo the story, Grandmoo shared that when she first arrives and gives you a hug, she has to hurry and give Buddha a hug and kiss too or you get mad and start telling Grandmoo to give Buddha a hug and kiss too hee/hee  After your adventure with GiGi and Gi-Pa, Bodhi and Jude, you both were exhausted and GiGi had a heck of a time keeping you awake during the car ride home.  You two slept for a whopping 4 hours.  You both woke up in a good mood too.  Bodhi, you have been waking Momma up several times every night and we both have been sleep deprived because of it.

Mommy arrived home from work in time to give you both airplane rides and played for a while.  Daddy then took you both to Sam's Club to pick up some groceries.  Now it's nighty night time for everyone but Momma, ugggh!  Tomorrow is a long day :(  but I'm certain you'll have fun with Aunt Ti :)  Sweet dreams my little munchkin!

Brother and Sister :)

Happy Babes!
