Monday Monday

Daddy is off work from Ivy Tech this week, so you two spent the first half the morning playing with Daddy while Mommy went to work.  Mommy came home and took over so that Daddy could get his grades submitted etc... and got you both down for your naps.  Mommy feels as though she has caught your guy's cold bug and was beyond tired, so Mommy also retired for a much needed nap.  Bodhi, you are now in the habit of crawling into bed with Mommy early in the morning.  Daddy gets up super early (he also goes to bed super early) so it's just me and you cuddled in bed.  Mommy loves waking up with your little sneaky butt laying across the middle of the bed.   You are such a sucker!  Buddha, you have slept in all week.  Poor guy, that cold/ear infection has got you sleeping a lot more than usual.  You've even been waking up after your sister during nap time!  

Bodhi, when you woke up from your afternoon nap, you went exploring around the house and spent some time with Daddy downstairs.  Daddy had to run to work and brought you upstairs with Mommy.  He turned on your cartoons and let Mommy sleep, well until Juders starts yelling "Mom meee!"  Daddy returned to discover Mommy and Buddha still sleeping and you playing downstairs ha/ha.  Wow, Mommy had no clue Daddy was gone or that you were downstairs :0  Buddha, Mommy wakes up out of sound sleep when you start hollaring.  You are so precious with your loud "Mommmm meeeee!"  When you woke up you were soaking wet.  You had pulled your pee pee out of your pants and wee wee'd all over yourself, your crib, blankets, everything.  And you had to have pee'd several times because EVERYTHING was soaked.  Mommy declared bath time, and you Bodhi couldn't have been happier.  Bodhi, you now laugh at your naked brother's bum for some reason.  You just point and laugh hysterically :)  You both took a long bath and then Mommy made you two dinner.  

After eating, Daddy arrived home from his Batterer's class and ate his dinner... with two zombies crawling all over him trying to steal bites hee/hee Mommy then faxed some reports and conducted an evening drop-in visit.  Daddy said he couldn't keep you, Buddha, awake until Mommy arrived home as I had hoped he would.  He said you couldn't keep your precious baby blues open.  Bodhi, you had requested to go to bed and watch your "one show,"  Mommy took the laundry upstairs and put it away while you were watching your show.  You always get up and help Mommy :)  and we laid out tomorrow's clothes.  You then asked that I read you "two books," so Mommy then read to you.  You want to take your princess dresses to Aunt Ti's tomorrow, so Mommy has got to remember to send them for you and Lizzie.  You are super excited for Wednesday, Bo.  Grandmoo and GiGi are taking you to a movie while Mommy and Daddy take Juders to his surgery, scheduled at 6:30 a.m.  You are also excited to go to Bloomington and eat pizza.  That's all you and Daddy talk about!  We have a full week of fun planned, aside from Buddha's surgery.

Sean Franky's Birthday Celebration

Happy early Birthday Sean Franky!  Ariel, Brother Franky's squeeze, Sister Kelly, and Brother Aaron came over to celebrate Franky's birthday.  Mommy and Daddy ordered a ton of wings, chips & dip, and TWO cakes, well, and some beverages too :)  Sean Franky and Ariel brought movies.  We spent the entire day together relaxing, eating, and watching movies together.  You two babes were in heaven with all the extra attention and non-stop sweets and junk food :)  You both played and watched movies with us.  Bodhi, you wore your new princess dress over your p.j.'s and your new Hello Kitty boots ALL day.  You got so mad at Bubby for trying on your boots and wings hee/hee Buddha, you were the happiest little guy, smiling, and running around.  You loved having everyone over all day long :)  Today was a great family day.  Mommy has a feeling we're going to start having regular movie days on the weekend.  Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.  Happy Birthday Franky, we love you! 

Oh and Bo, the BIG news of the day... you went potty on the big girl potty TWICE today!

Weekend Family Time... Finally!

Mommy awakened to Ju Ju yelling "Momma" and you, Bodhi, sound asleep next to me.  Daddy was at work, and apparently you, Bodhi, decided to snuggle in bed with Mommy and Daddy sometime between 3am and 8am :)  Mommy made you both eggs, sausage, and toast for breakfast.  Mommy always gets sick after eating my own breakfast.  Daddy and you both never get sick, but boy does Mommy's tummy hurt.  I think it's because I'm not a big breakfast person, and I rarely eat breakfast.  Anyway, the rest of the morning was spent playing, of course.  Daddy had to pick up Sean Franky's birthday cakes after work this morning.  We got Franky a cookie cake from Blondies and a vanilla cake from J. Edwards :)-  Yummmm!  After Daddy arrived home, he relieved Mommy from play time duty so I could take a shower.  You two played and played with Daddy.  Mommy then left for work, to conduct a drop-in, get my nails painted, pick up my new-vintage glasses (which are huge), and pick up some grocery goodies for Franky's movie marathon party.  Daddy reports having a heck of time getting you down for a nap, Bo.  You didn't fall asleep until shortly before Mommy arrived home at 3pm.  Mommy left at 1pm and  Daddy tried that entire time to get you down.  Juders you went down without a fight :) and you woke up as Mommy was arriving home.  

Mommy put the groceries away and then Daddy allowed Mommy to take a short nap while you napped Bo.  Juders you spent some quality play time watching the news with Daddy.  You have major separation anxiety and spent most of the time yelling, "Momma."  After a short nap, we all packed in the car to get you, Jude, some new shoes.  You've outgrown your shoes and you were super upset when Mommy wouldn't let you have the pair of shoes Mommy and Bodhi picked up for you yesterday, they were too big and had to be returned.  Bodhi, you picked out a princess dress-up outfit for both you and Lizzie (for whenever Lizzie comes over ha/ha).  Juders you had to have the loudest toy in the store, a train.  You wanted Mommy and Daddy to buy you a new baby doll, but you and your sister have so many we distracted you from the dolls by showing you all  the noise-making toys, uggggh.  After shopping we all went out to eat for dinner.  We ate at Bob Evans and you two were the best little babes, as usual :)  

Juders you went to bed after getting your jammies on and brushing your teeth.  Bodhi, we got you all settled in too, but you decided to get up with Mommy and ended up staying up until 11:30 p.m.  You had to put your princess Tinker Bell costume on, along with your new Hello Kitty rain boots ha/ha  You look so stinkin' cute, and it was a major fight to get you to take them off and get into bed.  Hopefully you are now sound asleep, Mommy has to check on you after writing this entry.  Sweet dreams my sweet babes!  It's been such an enjoyable and fun Saturday, one very much needed after the past two weekends of homework!  Mommy and Daddy love you two soooo much!  Tomorrow is going to to be another fun family day, celebrating Franky's birthday :)

Blueberry Babes

This morning started off with pancakes with little dollops of whipped cream and two bowls FULL of blueberries.  Let's just say Mommy had to make FOUR additional trips to the fridge to fetch you both more blueberries.  Surprisingly, I only stepped on three blueberries that didn't find their way to your tummies!  Buddha, "Blueberry" is your new favorite word, and you say it clear as day! :)  

This morning we played downstairs, and you two had a ball.  Mommy is really enjoying our uninterrupted play time these past few days :)  Mommy's motor has been running on overdrive all day!  Not only did I play with you two, chase you all day long, I managed to clean and re-clean several times throughout the day.  You both went down for naps so easily today.  Bo, you didn't even ask "one show, Momma" at nap time!  Jude, you slept for three hours today.  Bodhi, you slept for only two.  Daddy came home this afternoon, and Mommy worked on homework until you awakened from your nap.  Mommy then took you shopping while Juders napped and Daddy worked on work.  We had a nice mother daughter shopping trip, we even ran into old friends, Aunt Tracy and Uncle Denny, and Mommy's friend from high school, Heather Kinney during our shopping adventure.  Bodhi, Daddy always tells you not to let anyone touch you, whenever Mommy takes you out.  For whatever reason, you always get touched by some shadey strangers when you go out with Momma.  Aunt Tracy and Heather both tried touching you and you pulled away, shooting them a look ha/ha  You picked out the most girliest girly dress, a yellow and white Easter dress, white dress shoes with pearls, lacey socks, and a big white hair bow.  Mommy found Juders the cutest coordinated outfit, a vest and blue blazer.  Bodhi, you also begged Mommy for some Hello Kitty rain boots, and Mommy couldn't tell you no.  You LOVED your last pair of rain boots, Sister Kelly bought you so long ago and you've since outgrown them.  Daddy called us while we were out shopping, instructing us to come pick him and Juders up.  JuJu wanted his sister and Momma :)  So, we all took a car ride to Greentown to pay Aunt Ti, and then we stopped off to pick up dinner and headed home.  

Jude, you didn't last long before you were wanting to go to bed., but you and Bo managed to get in a huge newspaper fight.  Mommy even got in on the action.  You two were laughing so hard!   Bodhi, you had Daddy play "Little People" with you, and Mommy left to drop-in on a client.  When I returned home you both were still playing, so Mommy unloaded the car, put everything away, cleaned, and put laundry away.  Bodhi, you had Mommy help you try on your clothes and new shoes.  You played in your boots for two hours.  They made you so happy :)  You even got a wipe out to clean them ha/ha  It's now super late and Mommy is super tired.  Bodhi, you fell asleep with Daddy in our bed while Mommy was finishing up some chores downstairs.  So good night my sweet babes.  Mommy and Daddy love you to pieces.

Max and Ruby!

You, Bodhi were the most precious sweetest baby girl with your brother this morning.  You two started off fighting and fussing at each other, but Mommy said to you, Bodhi, "Bo, love your brother, share... just like Max and Ruby."  Mommy told you that you were Ruby and Buddha was Max, and that was the end of the fussing.  You were extra loving and motherly toward Ju Ju, who is still battling an ear infection.  You would give him hugs, and talk baby baby talk to him ha/ha  Your voice is so precious and little, but then the added baby talk to your brother, was just too much!  Mommy was laughing at you all morning!  Mommy was extra tired from doing reports into the morning hours, but you kept Mommy going with all the cute things you both were doing.  

Nap time was a different story.  Bodhi, you would not nap for anything.  Buddha, you slept for just about two hours.  Bodhi, Mommy made the mistake of telling you that Grandmoo was coming over after you woke up from your nap.  You were so excited!  Once Grandmoo arrived, Mommy was off to work for a couple of hours, another fun evening of working :)  When Mommy arrived home, Daddy, Grandmoo, Sister Kelly, and Brother Aaron were all visiting and feeding you two.  You two were beyond cranky!  Grandmoo, for whatever reason, always manages to get the worst of you two.  She took you outside to drive your electric jeep (your all time favorite thing to do), and then she took you for a wagon ride AND a walk.  Mommy loves when Grandmoo gets a hold of you two, you two are plain exhausted after just a few hours with "Moo."  You two were quite the fussy handful by the time Mommy arrived home.  Bodhi, after you ate dinner you started crying and you wouldn't stop.  Daddy held you for a while and you passed out!  Daddy carried you to bed at about 7pm!!! Wow that's early!  Hopefully you don't wake up at midnight ready to go go go!  Buddha, you poor little munchkin head.  You screamed when Grandmoo was leaving, and you continued to scream after being rocked to sleep and then waking back up, a total of 6 times!  Mommy and Daddy tagged teamed you and eventually got you down, however, you were obviously hurting, you couldn't get comfortable.  

Sweet dreams my sweet exhausted babes!  Mommy and Daddy and Grandmoo and Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron LOVE you both very much xoxoxoxoxo

PS Mommy just remembered... yesterday, Mommy walked you two to the post office downtown in the stroller :)  So, this was the second nice day outdoors :)  Oh and today, Mommy finally got her traffic light ha/ha I've always wanted one, and I found one!!!  So we'll have a WORKING traffic light in our home, I'm thinking the dining room :)  YAY!
