Crazy Friday

Mommy's beginning to think that these hectic and exhausting days are never going to end, at least not for another 20 years or so.... my goodness.  Buddha, you are something else.  You are challenging Mommy to step up her multi-tasking talents, and well, Mommy is failing hee/hee  Both Mommy and Daddy awaken each morning with big plans to get a room situated or an area organized but it's nearly impossible with you, Buddha.  You find or invent new ways to try and break your neck or any other limb, and it's a constant battle with you to get you to stop.  You are so stinkin' stubborn :)-  When Mommies previously told Mommy every baby is different, I had no concept of just how different two siblings could be!  Bodhi, you are so easy, and aside from watching your brother do things he's not supposed to and occasionally trying them yourself, you listen so well, and you're content with anything Mommy and Daddy is doing so long as you can watch.

This morning Mommy got up extra early to pick up some outside lights for our house at Lowes and then headed to work.  Daddy was home with you two all morning and put you down for an early afternoon nap.  When Mommy arrived home, Mommy and Daddy went to all three Treasure Marts to see if we could find a stand for your television Bodhi.  Sean Franky came over and sat while you two napped.  When Mommy and Daddy arrived home, you two were downstairs wide awake.  You both only slept for about two hours!

Daddy and Franky then went to get the rest of the garage contents from 729 S. Leeds, and Mommy "attempted" to decorate our porch with you two.  This weekend is the ceremonial tree lighting at the Sieberling Mansion and it's a neighborhood understanding that everyone have their houses decorated for when people take carriage rides down our road.  Everyone was outside full force getting their houses decorated today.  Daddy thought tonight was the tree lighting and Santa sleigh ride, so we hurriedly got you both dressed, only to discover Daddy was mistaken and it's actually Sunday, uggggh!  So, since we were all dressed, we decided to check out Big Lots to see if they had any cute tv stands.  You two were not diggin' shopping so we quickly left.  Mommy had Daddy go to Starbucks for a coffee treat to make it through the rest of the night, you both had your very first Starbucks child hot chocolate!  Bodhi, you thought you were hot stuff with your little coffee cup, it was so funny and you were so cute!    We then headed home and Mommy took the boys out to potty and plugged in our Christmas lights :)  Buddha, you wanted to go "night night" so Mommy rocked you to bed.  Bo, you are still up with Daddy in the other room watching cartoons.  Mommy is debating on what to do the rest of the evening... all I want to do is sleep for two days straight!  Daddy's knees are killing him, or else he would be game for sleeping two days too hee/hee

Tomorrow we are going to make a go of taking a trip to Vincennes to see Grandma Betty, Aunt Terrie, Aunt Debbie, and Aunt Diane.  Hopefully, we'll get there as planned and it won't be too hard on you two :)  Mommy and Daddy really want to see everyone!

Sweet dreams my baby butts!

You Babes decided to have some play time while waiting on Daddy to take us to Big Lots ;)

Racing to the top!

"Look Momma, I found a picnic table in our backyard!"

First Starbucks hot chocolate :)- Mmmmm!  You drank a few drinks and handed it off to Buddha... who ended up guzzling it down and spilling most of it all over his car seat.

Happy Thanksgiving (from 1108 West Walnut) :)

Wow, do we ever have so very much to be thankful for; we are in our majestic, mansion-like, beautiful home! And somehow Mommy managed to come through with an incredibly delicious Thanksgiving day dinner, which seems miraculous frankly given we have been so hurried this past entire week trying to move in and get somewhat settled. Mommy is an incredible woman, an incredible mother, and an incredible partner. What a very special Thanksgiving, indeed!
Kelly and Aaron came over for dinner, bearing deviled eggs (Daddy’s favorite) and a delicious wine with just a hint of strawberry. Sean joined us and helped some few finishing touches around the house, preparing tomorrow for our final effort at moving everything from our garage at the other house. We couldn’t talk Grandma (MooMoo) into coming over because she said she was tired and didn’t feel well, and besides (she said) she had eaten a big lunch at GiGi’s where she accompanied Mommy and the two of you, Bodhi and Buddha earlier in the day. Still, we were disappointed because we want MooMoo to be a part of our family tradition because she is so important to our family!!! Mommy took some treats over to her after dinner, she refused some of our dinner because she is stubbornJ Daddy bragged all night that Mommy made the best turkey we have ever had, and Sean agreed it was the best he had ever had too!
Buddha, you were a pistol all day, rushing from one calamity to another, you are all boy as Mommy is fond of saying…and it is true you are full of “piss and vinegar”J, you get your ornery streak from your Mommy who you look exactly like!
Bodhi, you enjoyed a fun-filled day, making incredible faces throughout the day mimicking Aunt Ti and GiGi, and teasing everyone after dinner. You struggled to stay awake while we still had company but finally crashed just after 9:30 p.m., Mommy and Daddy permitted you to stay up to celebrate Thanksgiving with our loved family. And it is true, you are a Daddy’s girlJ
Tomorrow looks to be another busy day as Mommy attempts to get some work in, and Daddy intends to finalize our move from our Leeds house. For now, we all look forward to staring at our respective ceilings and smiling…smiles recognizing our blessings. Sleep safely and happily you little angels, Prince Stinkerbutt and Princess StinkerbelleJ

Still Digging In! Christmas Decorations Up :)

Today was day three of unpacking and organizing!  I don't know how Mommy and Daddy got out of bed, but we did!  We are working so hard so we can start enjoying this wonderful house together, and a great big Thanksgiving meal with family.  You both went to Aunt Ti's for the third day in  a row... and the day for the week.  Aunt Ti has been so great keeping you both all day!  She loves and adores you both so much! And you two most certainly enjoy your time with her and her babes :)

Mommy and Daddy had to have a plumber come out and fix a water leak coming from our washer... Mommy doesn't know anything about plumbing and our laundry is piling up.  We also had to have an electrician come out and change our plug in on our dryer because it wouldn't reach the outlet.  Mommy again knows very little about electricity and clean clothes with no way to dry them was out of of the question.  Mommy ended up driving to Lafayette last night at 10pm to pick up my check.  It's a good thing too, we needed that money to get our washer and dryer up and running.

Franky spent the day with us again helping out.  Daddy and Franky put up two doors to block off the kitchen and laundry room view from the rest of the house, as well as to help maintain you two in rest of the house hee/hee  Mommy can hardly keep her eyes open trying to right this blog... Mommy has a ton of catching up to do, and the blog was a must!  You two are doing so well in your own rooms, and tonight you had a surprise awaiting you when you returned from Aunt Ti's... Christmas trees and lights all throughout the house.  Mommy had it all decoraed and you two went nuts :)

Tomorrow is another big day... Thanksgiving!  We have so much to be thankful for so it's certain to be a special celebration.  Mommy will get the turkey in the oven and then Grandmoo and Mommy are taking you both to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's for lunch to see everyone.  Then it'll be back home for our own Thanksgiving dinner... Bob Evans ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, turkey, stuffing, rolls, cheese cake, pecan pie, YUMMM!  Sweet dreams my little angels!  Mommy can't wait to be with you both for the entire day tomorrow! :)

Mommy has been managing to make time to continue to work, however Mommy didn't get this week's homework assignment finished.... Ut Ohhhh!

Bodhi taking time to enjoy the Christmas trees :)

Day Two In Our New House

Daddy was so exhausted, he woke up only a after a couple of hours of sleep.  His body wouldn't let him rest, so we went back to work early early this morning, in preparation of the cable/phone/Internet being installed later today.  Mommy is happy to report, Buddha, you slept the entire night... and you slept later than usual :)  You did so wonderful in your new room and new bed, all by yourself!!!  Mommy was most worried about you since you've slept in Mommy's and Daddy's room since birth :)  Bodhi, you also slept good... especially considering it was your first night in a "big girl bed!"  You opted to sleep in your twin bed, rather than your antique toddler bed.  Mommy and Daddy were anxious about you sleeping in a bed with out rails!  Luckily Daddy was up working when he heard you yelling "Momma," at about 4am.  Mommy was out cold and didn't wake to you yelling.  Daddy went and crashed in on your bed with you :)  When Mommy did finally come to, Mommy went straight downstairs to let Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo outside.  It's a real change going from a home with a doggy door and a fenced in backyard, to a home with neither!  Mommy let Mr. Murff out, but Mommy was searching frantically for Mr. Arlo and couldn't find him anywhere!  Mommy feared she had let him out and never let him back in... but Mommy heard Daddy yelling "Honey, come here you have to see this!"  Mommy, still freaked out about not knowing where Mr. Arlo was, quickly discovered that Mr. Arlo had climbed into your toddler bed, Bodhi!!  This was Mommy's biggest fear, that you, Bodhi, would wake in the middle of the night and wonder around the house and get ate up by Mr. Arlo.  Fortunately, Daddy had left your door open when he went to comfort you at 4am and Mr. Arlo followed him in your room.  Mr. Arlo was snug as a bug in a rug, passed out with his head hanging over your bed :)  hee/hee Good thing Daddy was in there with you.

You two again went to Aunt Ti's for the entire day while Mommy, Daddy, and Grandmoo worked on getting things unpacked and "safe" for you two.  Mommy and Daddy miss you two sooooo much!  Sister Kelly, Brother Governor, and Bubby Sean Franky also came over this evening to check in on our progress.  Sister Kelly said we've got more done than she and Governor :)  What a day!!!  Mommy LOVES this house, and Mommy loves that she wakes to pretty big old trees outside my bedroom window, rather than a view of a dirty old factory, dumpster, and apartments :)  This is going to be the house we all grow old in :)  It's so peaceful!

Oh and Bo, Aunt Ti taught you to repeat the alphabet... Mommy got you to do it for Sister Kelly and Brother Governor!  However, when  we got to "w" you said, "ummm no!"  Hee/Hee  Aunt Ti brought you two home tonight... and shared a couple shots of Tequila Rose with Mommy and Grandmoo!  :)  Aunt Ti knew just what Momma needed!

Holy Cow Buddha!  We turn our heads for one second...

Sister Kelly slowly apprached you to get you down... you are so out of control, we were expecting you to jump and/or fall!

Bodhi, you thought Bubba's idea was a good one, and you decided to give it a try as well

"Catch me Sister Kelly!" :)

Sister Kelly reminded you that you have to warn people when you're about to jump into their arms... you started counting out loud when you were about to jump!

Buddha running all over the place!

You two love all our new space!

Nighty Night time!

Our First Night In Our New House!

Wow, is all Mommy can say!  Mommy and Daddy fall more and more in love with this house the more time we spend in it.  Our growing love for it's beauty has kept us working through exhaustion and aching bodies!  Grandmoo, GiGi, and Sean Franky have been such a  blessing with all their help... we are so lucky to have such a loving family willing to do so much for us!  You two spent the entire long day, from 8am to 6pm with Aunt Ti, Ellie, Andrew, and Lizzie :)  Aunt Ti reports you both are happy and doing fine with her, even despite the fact that GiGi and Grandmoo reported that the past few days you two were going through some major Mommy and Daddy withdrawals :)-  Mommy gets a sad feeling picking you two up so late in the evening, it's as though I'm missing out on you two growing up, even though we've only been a part for a few long days!

The movers got all of our remaining furniture moved in eight hours!  GiGi came over a few hours to help Mommy clean the base boards and floors in preparation.  Daddy coordinated the movers at our 729 home.  Later on Grandmoo came over and helped Mommy start unpacking and moving things around the house.  Mr. Murff has been restless since coming here, but Mr. Arlo has settled right in and doesn't even seem to notice that he's in a new place hee/hee.  Mommy picked you both up and brought you to our new home to live for good tonight!  You two were confused, well, Bodhi, you you were confused and said "ahhh no," when Mommy said "we're home."  You two went nuts running around like little wild people, exploring every room.  You two LOVE your new rooms :)  Mommy and Daddy can't wait to go to bed and get some much needed rest.  Hopefully you two will be at ease and sleep peacefully in your new surroundings!  Bodhi, this is your first night sleeping in your "big girl bed."  Buddha, you are sleeping in a new bed too... Bodhi's old crib :)  You are still super sick, so you especially need some extra sleep, and you were ready for it early tonight!  However Buddha, you were super excited about all the ceiling fans!  You are obsessed with lights and especially ceiling fans! Instead of going night night you wanted Mommy to keep spinning the fan.  I would have turned it on for you, but it's too chilly to leave that cold air blowing on you.

Mommy could kick herself!  Mommy told Aunt Ti to keep the camera for tomorrow, when I should have brought it home to capture pictures of you two your first night in your new home!  Mommy isn't thinking clearly, obviously!

When Mommy and Daddy aren't around... you still have each other!

Buddha, give me another kiss and hug! :)

"OK Sis!"

You two always have so much fun at Aunt Ti's!  Look at Mr. Too Cool, Andrew :)

The Night Before the Big Move

For the first time in 323 days of writing this blog, Mommy has fallen three days behind, but with good reason... we are moving!!!  Mommy and Daddy thought last night was hard work, wowzers, little did we know what was in store for us today.  We again started our work day at 8am and we did not quit until 3:45am Monday morning!  You two have been staying with GiGi and Grandmoo, and they both agree, you two are missing your Momma and Da da horribly!  We are missing you both like crazy too :(  We have a long three days a head of us, and tomorrow we will be moved in for good.

Bodhi, every time Mommy and Daddy ask you about moving you say you are excited, but then you get this sad look on your face, point to Grandmoo's house, and say, "no, Moo Moo?"  Mommy tells you that Grandmoo isn't moving with us and then you respond "YES!"  It's so sad because you are just at the age when you really appreciate and enjoy living right across the street from Grandmoo :(  Daddy keeps reassuring us all by reminding us, we are only moving a couple blocks away.

PS  This is also the first day in 323 days Mommy didn't manage to get a single picture of you two!  I could lie and use a picture from a different day... but this blog is for you two and Mommy will stay true :)  So, Mommy's perfect record went down the toilet!  Oh well, life happens xoxoxoxox  We love you both so much and can't wait to get settled in and enjoy our house all together!

A Hard Day's Night

From 8am to 8pm, Mommy, Daddy, Sean Franky, and GiGi were working like dogs, and yes we have movers coming Monday.  So, why are we moving so much... because Bodhi and Buddha, your wonderful Daddy is a hoarder!  Franky and Daddy worked on the garage and got about 3/4 of the way done!  Mommy and GiGi worked inside transferring clothes, pictures, and everything else that wouldn't really fit in a box.  Daddy cannot deny his obsession with "all things" as GiGi said sheepishly to Momma, "My God I have never seen so many shoes in my life!"  Mommy and GiGi gave up on the whole Daddy shoe moving (they weighed a ton and not very many would fit in a box, not that we looked forward to carrying them up and down what amounted to three flights of stairs)!  Mommy said forget this, we'll box em' for the movers and moved on to the clothes.  Daddy's clothes took six car trips, again up and down three flight of stairs.  That's only what was hanging in our closet!  We didn't make it to the dressers, ugggh!  Anyway, up and down, up and down, Mommy got her wish... always be careful what you wish for, we're finally moving and I think I lost about 30 pounds!  Mommy feels like she's 80, so you know your poor Daddy must feel like he's 100!  Anyway, we were all at it all day!

You two spent the morning with Grandmoo... who started her day with a fall in our living room!  :(  She was not having a good day, she could hardly move, yet she insisted on spending time with you two, even despite GiGi more than willing to watch you two!  You two wore poor Grandmoo out big time!  She brought you back for naps, and Mommy had the bright idea to have you both take a nap in the same room so I could keep working on Mommy's and Daddy's closet!  You two were playing patty cake, giggling, anything and everything, but going to sleep.  Jude, every time Mommy would close the door you would giggle and stand up, I'd open the door real quick and tell you to lay down, and you would flop to a laying position with your bum in the air.  Finally, Mommy had to sit in the room until you both fell asleep.  Buddha, you are so sick :(  You can hardly breathe still!  When you did fall asleep, you were snoring so loudly!  This got Bo tickled and she started laughing and saying "Momma, Bubba!  Hee/hee, you both eventually fell asleep.  However, you didn't stay asleep long :(  This made it very hard on Grandmoo!  So, you two spent the evening with Grandmoo and then came home.  Buddha, you went right to sleep!  Bo, you stayed up with Mommy and Daddy for some cuddle time :)  Oh my, Daddy wasn't lying when he said this would be our last move!  Mommy doesn't quite understand how we are moving into a house twice as big as our current house, yet, we'll have to get rid of some furniture!  How does that happen??

Buddha, Mommy didn't get a picture of you today :(  Bo, Mommy got one of you right before bed!  You were the last one standing tonight.  You grabbed some wipes out of the diaper basket and started cleaning... you do not like our messy house one bit!  You would wipe an object, and look at the wipe and make a funny face and say "Ewwwww!"  Mommy was cracking up, Daddy who was trying to fall asleep on the couch, opened his eyes long enough to see you do this and laughed too!  You are something else!

You gave Mommy and Daddy all kinds of hugs and kisses this evening!  We sure missed you and your brother today!!!!
