Swiper, No Swiping!

Juders, you follow Mommy around the house like a little duckling :)  Everywhere I go, you are right behind me.  I don't know how many times Mommy knocked you on your bum today because you were following so close behind (plus Mommy has a huge rear these days).  Bodhi, you are Ms. Independent, you do your own thing and occassionally check to see what everyone else is doing.  You were once a little follower too, but not as much as your Bubba.   Plus, I think you followed your Daddy around moreso than Momma.

Bodhi, we can tell you "no," and you listen, we ask you to do something, and you do it.  You're just easy, and compared to your brother at his age, you were so so so much easier :)  Jude man,   Mommy and Daddy have started referring to you as the little terrorist.  You rarely listen, you get into everything, you climb everything, you are so rough, and you will destroy anything within reach, there is no rest when you are awake :)  Aunt Ti says it's just a difference between boys and girls.  She assures Mommy that once you become a teenager, Jude, the tables will turn, and your sister will be the handful :)  Mommy always thought the only difference between boys and girls (besides the obvious) was mostly due to how children are raised.... WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!  Boys and girls are just different!  I'm not dismissing the whole birth order thing either, I think birth order can be attributed to some of the differences I see in you two.  However, Aunt Ti has three and the differences Mommy notices and questions, she attributes to gender and not so much personality or birth order :)  I think I've mentioned this before is a prior post, but  I'm just absolutely fascinated by the differences and thought I'd mention it again!

Anyway, we had a good day.  You two wore your pajama's all day long.  It was rainy and nasty out, so I thought it was a good day to not get dressed, plus I had all the laundry done, including ironing, so I thought why waste an outfit, you guys aren't going anywhere hee/hee :)  You two played downstairs the entire day.  Mommy and Daddy have been frantically trying to de-clutter, organize, and get small tasks accomplished.   Juder's Mommy had the task of keeping you safe all day while Daddy locked himself in his office (the biggest mess of the house)... and supervising you is definitely a full time duty.  So, needless to say, I didn't get everything I wanted to get accomplished, accomplished, but some progress was made though :)  Mommy also backslided on the nursing you.  You were nursed at nap time and at bedtime, there was just no way around it, well,  aside from you crying your little heart out, and snotting everywhere.  GiGi, Gi-Pa, Sister Kelly, and Brother Governor, all stopped by briefly today too.  Bodhi, GiGi and Gi-Pa bought you several pieces of "little girl jewarly," including a Dora the Explorer watch.  Buddha, you got a hand carved wood train :)  You tried swiping Sis' jewelry, but she wouldn't let you have it :)  Like the cartoon, either Dora or Diego, Mommy and Daddy kept telling you "Swiper no swiping."  Bodhi, Mommy bought you your first purse yesterday, Bubba tried swiping that too!  Swiper no Swiping!

Look at all the bling bling!

"Ummmm Mom, I think there is an intruder in the cabinet." -- Mr. Murff

It's Bodhi!
Bodhi, I think you got tired of hearing Momma say, "Bubba no no, get out of the cabinet," so you thought you'd surprise Bubba the next time he went to get into some trouble hee/hee

"I'm hilarious!"

Buddha watching Bodhi play with one of his toys hee/hee  You know what came next... Bubba swiped it!

Bodhi's Adventure with the Bun Buns

This morning Daddy went to work for a couple of hours as usual, and Momma got up with you two baby butts.  Mommy was still sleepy of course, and thinking of moving, only makes me want to curl up in bed and sleep for a week straight.  How sweet would that be?  Anyway, mid-morning Sister Kelly called to make arrangements to come pick you up Bodhi.  You were so excited when Mommy announced Sister Kelly was on her way to get you :)  For only being two, you are the easiest and smartest little thing!  You mind so well and you are always very helpful.  Bodhi, you love to be given tasks to do and Mommy and Daddy just clap and tell you what a good girl you are... you love it!  After announcing Sister Kelly was on her way, you helped Mommy pick up your toys and pick out outfits.  Mommy told you that we had to get ready, and well, you were on it :)  You were sad when Mommy told you that Bubba would be staying home with Momma.  You pointed to little Buddha and said "Bubba, go?"  Mommy explained that Bubba would be getting into all the boxes at Sister Kelly's and that he would be too much to handle.    Mommy told you that you would have a lot of fun without Bubby, you smiled.  Bubba, you face planted into Bodhi's toddler bed, and you now have s bruise and scrape right above your nose and right under you eye :(  You look like you were in a brawl.

Sister Kelly arrived and Bodhi, you two were on your way to Greentown.  You waived, blew kisses, and waived some more from Sister Kelly's car.  Sister Kelly sent Mommy text messages with pictures of you playing with the buns. Bodhi you are fasinated by Sister Kelly's bunnies :)    Sister Kelly reported that you did very well on your adventure away from home, but you didn't sleep very long because the storm woke you up and scared you.  Sister Kelly said you started saying "Bubba," once you woke up.    You spent most of the day with Sister Kelly and the bun buns though :)

Jude man, you played with Mommy and Daddy, and then Daddy fed you lunch and put you down for a nap while Mommy went grocery shopping and ran errands.  Today was day two of not nursing you at nap time :)  When you woke up from your nap, you wanted to be nursed so bad :(  Mommy distracted you with snacks and prepared dinner.  Bodhi, you and your brother kept coming into the kitchen, trying to climb the oven, and licking your lips saying "Mmmmm!"  Jude, Mommy had to grab you several times, you would have put your hand right on the hot oven top, ouch!   You climb everything! This evening we all had a family dinner together.  Mommy made chicken noodles, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a hot dutch apple pie again this weekend.  You two loved it so much last weekend, Mommy made it again for you both.  You two were in heaven :)

Bye Bye Momma! :)

Bodhi and Sister Kelly off on their adventure :)

Bye Bye... Kisses!

Friday with Family :)

You babes spent your usual Friday morning with Aunt Ti, Lizzie, and Andrew :)  You both love your days with Aunt Ti and her babes!  You both are always red faced, sweaty, and just plain wore out by the time Momma arrives to pick you up.  Mommy misses our mornings where we use to go on stroller/wagon adventures to the park and around town, but Mommy is lucky to have the opportunity to work part-time making full time money and not miss out too much with you both!  Mommy's energy level has been so low since I stopped exercising.  By the time you two wake up from your afternoon naps, it seems as though it's a race to get you fed, (sometimes bathed hee/hee), and ready to start our day all over again.  Mommy is going to try to get back on track... we need to start having evening walks together and more play time at the parks again, I think you two will be much happier and Mommy will feel better.  We've just got so much going on right it's hard to make time for anything other than our normal routine.

This evening Mommy was planning on taking you both to the grocery while Daddy got a nap in.  Daddy let Mommy take a 45 minute nap and then he laid down... Daddy's nap turned into a two hour nap.  However, we had some surprise visitors... we got to visit with Brother Governor, Sean Franky, Sister Kelly, and Aunt Bethie... YES, we got to see Aunt Bethie! :)  It feels like forever since we've seen Sister Kelly and Governor, they've been busy moving and settling into their new home.  Sister Kelly invited you, Bodhi, over to see the bun buns tomorrow. Jude man, I think you are too much for Sister Kelly hee/hee you'll have a Mommy and Daddy day to yourself.  Grandpa Kurt and Great Grandma Penny also stopped by.  So you two had non-stop attention and visitors this evening :)

Buddha, Mommy nursed you at bedtime, but you went down for a nap without nursing today :)  You didn't sleep long, but it's a start!

"Loved Buddha" :)

Momma's Babes :)

Bodhi girl, Mommy doesn't know what got in to you today, BUT I LOVE IT!  This afternoon and evening you were a little precious Mommy's girl!  Your new love for Momma continued on into the evening hours too :)  I think Daddy got a little jealous, he's not use to you coming to Momma and giving free hugs and kisses!  Mommy's hard work finally paid off today hee/hee  Juders, you too were a little Momma's boy, of course!  This morning Daddy tried entertaining you while Mommy got cleaned up for work, but you cried and screamed the whole time.  Whenever I would walk into the room, you would hold your arms out for Momma and cry.  Poor Daddy... now he knows how Mommy has felt for the past two years with your sister!  Daddy tried real hard, I must give him credit... he pulled out all of Mommy's bag of tricks, the tickle monster, getting your getties, loving on you, etc... but you weren't having it.  When Mommy picked you up from Aunt Ti's, you both started to fuss in the car, which is rare.  Usually you both pass out almost instantly.  Bodhi, you stopped fussing when Mommy managed to keep one hand on the wheel and one hand frantically searching the backseat car floor for your moo aka cow!  Jude, you just wanted your Momma to hold you while driving... an instant CPS call and removal :)-

When Mommy got you both home, Grandmoo came over and got you both all excited and playing, so Mommy didn't put you down for your naps until about 3pm!  Bodhi, you woke up on your own at about 5:15pm, and Buddha, Mommy went and got you up at 6pm.  Mommy then fed you both dinner and Daddy arrived home.  Mommy then went to work for an hour and returned to put you both in bed, along with Daddy.  Bo, you wanted your Momma, so Mommy abandoned Jude to make sure you felt loved with extra goodnight sugars :)  Then it was back to Bubba.  Buddha, you are still being nursed at nap time and bedtime, I just don't know what to do?  I can't let you cry for hours, I don't want you to have attachment/separation issues!  I'll have to ask my good friend, the super Momma, Carrie Talbott, Aunt Ti says she'll break you when Mommy takes Daddy on a surprise trip on his birthday hee/hee  I just can't do that to Aunt Ti.  New goal date:  October 15th!

Buddha managed to get a piece of apple before his sister ate them all... Bodhi is a big apple hog!

"Momma, you better tell Bo to back off my apple!"

Buddha, you swiped your sister's new cow hat... she had an absolute cow about it too!

"Arrrrgh Bubba!"

Bodhi, shoving apples in her mouth so her brother couldn't get anymore!  Such suckers!

"I'm chewing it Momma!"

"Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm!"

Buddha still working on his... while on the run!

"Gangsta Buddha" ;)

Mommy's little girl :)

This is hilarious!  Bodhi, every night when Daddy comes home, you tell Daddy that Bubba gave you a boo boo so he'll get you a Hello Kitty bandaid!  Look at that face, you little drama queen.

The babes at Aunt Ti's...playing under the new living room table!  Mommy loves this new table, and Aunt Ti reported that it was a hit with you babes too :)

"I'm not doing anything Aunt Ti!" ;)

Dancing Nancies Purdue Style

Today was a busy busy day.  Momma has started selling the clothes you two have outgrown on a Facebook garage sale page... Momma has made about $45.00 in two days, pretty good considering I usually donate the items, or occasionally take them to a consignment shop :)  Daddy and I took turns showering and working while the other played with you two this morning.  After you two went down for your afternoon naps, Mommy cleaned the house, ran errands, and delivered items I sold.  After you two woke up, well, after Mommy and Daddy woke you both up, we packed in the car to take a family trip to Lafayette to retrieve Mommy's check, FINALLY!  Mommy has been working for four months and hadn't yet been paid.  After picking up my check, we made our routine trip to the hippie stores on campus, the campus bookstore, and then to TJMaxx and Hobby Lobby to browse around.  Mommy loves to go to Lafayette because that means a Hobby Lobby trip, since we boycotted the Kokomo Hobby Lobby!  Luckily, while we were on campus, there were some Australian dancers that were dancing way up in the air on a single stilt thingy.  They had big flowy dresses on and music playing loudly.  You two LOVED it!  It was quite neat :)  Bodhi, you decided you were going to take up the whole sidewalk and dance around, twirling and moving like the three dancers.  JuJu you would bob your head and raise you one arm in the air, all while making the funniest face showing those big ol' teeth of yours.  You both were super cute, and everyone got the biggest kick out of you two.  When everyone clapped, you two clapped right on cue.  Jude, you would clap and then do your arm/face thing, you were killing Momma.  On our way home we stopped for ice cream, and Jude, you passed out after crying for about ten minutes.  You only stopped crying after Mommy held your hand.  You refuse to stop crying until some part of you is touching Momma.  Bodhi and Momma were laughing at you Buddha.  Bodhi, you would say "Bubba," and point, and Momma would say "Shhhhhh!"  Bodhi, you thought that was so funny so you repeated and copied Mommy.

Mommy forgot the camera, which I only realized when I wanted to take pictures of you two dancing!  Anyway, Mommy only has last minute pictures of you two going to bed :(

Sweet Dreams Baby Girl, Momma will see you in the morning... nod nod :)

Don't let the bed bugs bite my little dancing nancie babe!

Sucker!  How is Momma ever going to wean you?????

Our nightly routine... throw you on the bed, you roll around until you find the remote and then Momma wrestles you down to get you to sleep :)

A Close Call

This morning Mommy got you both off to Aunt Ti's, and you both woke up in a good mood.  Juders, Daddy grabbed you up out of your crib and you immediately started smacking his face and reaching for your Momma :)  You LOVE Momma!  Bodhi, you were happy to see Momma, but you immediately said "Da Da?"  Mommy said he's downstairs leaving for work and you nodded your head.  Daddy quickly ran upstairs to give you a great big morning hug to start your day off right.  However, when Daddy left for work, you were extra affectionate with Momma, YES!  When Mommy picked you up from Aunt Ti's, shortly after noon, you gave Momma a great big afternoon hug and wanted me to hold you :)  I love baby hugs!

Mommy drove you two home from Greentown, and as usual, you both fell right to sleep.  Mommy carried you in first, Bodhi.  Mommy usually has you walk inside while I carry Jude, but you wanted your Momma to put you straight to bed, so Jude, you continued sleeping in the car as Mommy ran upstairs to put Bodhi to bed :0  It made Mommy a nervous wreck, even though it was all of two minutes!  Jude, Mommy put you to bed without nursing you and then came downstairs to clean up... slowly I'm getting the house picked up from the weekend.  You only slept for an hour and a half without being nursed.  So, Mommy gave in and nursed you when you woke up, with the hope that you would go back to sleep, as would Momma for a short nap.  You nursed for about 30 minutes, so Mommy got a power nap in, and not a very good one with you hanging off of me :)

Mommy brought you downstairs and we played, and I folded some laundry.  Bodhi, you were still asleep, but it was getting late so Mommy and Jude went upstairs to get you up.  Jude, you have become a pro at climbing the stairs, however, Mommy is always right behind you.  Mommy made a major mistake tonight though!  I decided I would walk up behind you carrying a load of laundry, and of course, you rolled down the stairs, Mommy couldn't catch you quick enough!  Mommy's heart stopped, I was in a pure panic state.  You cried so hard, but once I picked you up, you stopped crying and wanted down to play.  Mommy is counting her blessings that you didn't break your neck!  And thank goodness I put the gate up as we were going the up the stairs.... it prevented you from hitting the hardwood floors at the bottom of the stairs :0  Mommy is still highly disturbed about the incident!  Juders, just like every other night, that wasn't the end of incidents for you... you, constantly fall, bump your head, and run into things!  Poor Dude!

The rest of the night went pretty smoothly considering.  You both ate a huge dinner and played your little hearts out.  Juders, when Mommy was changing Bo's diaper, you took the opportunity to give her big ol' wet kisses :)  Bodhi, you didn't freak out like normal, you just laughed and giggled.  You kept laughing and saying "Bubba!"  You two played very well together tonight.  You now are both fast asleep xoxoxo sweet dreams baby butts!

"I love my Mommmm!"

"Come here Mommarazzi!"

"Doll Buddha" :)

Bodhi, Mommy gave you your present from GiGi and Gi-Pa... we forgot to open it on Jude's birthday!  There were no shortage of gifts!  They bought you a Hello Kitty jewelry box and a bracelet.  Momma thinks Jude wants one too hee/hee Sister Kelly will be super jealous!

"I love it!"

Juders you love balloons, out of all the new toys you got for your birthday, you still want to play with the balloons!

Nakey Time!
"Mommma, I find it highly inappropriate that you take nakey pictures of me, I'm two you know!"

Big Buddha Baby Belly :)

Buddha decided it was his turn!
