Monday Madness

Wow!  Mommy and Daddy diligently work on home improvement projects while our electrician friend, Tom, and his son, Bart, were working on Mommy's overhead light in my craft room.  Bodhi, you went with GiGi happily, and Jude, you were super excited to go with Grandmoo, that is until you thought you were going to be left behind while Bodhi went to GiGi's.  Grandmoo arrived shortly after GiGi and you were a happy little hound sitting in Grandmoo's truck.  You, like your sister, love the view from sitting in the front of a truck hee/hee

Our electrical work got started an hour and a half late :( so that threw your guy's schedule off at GiGi's and Grandmoo's.  Bodhi, you slept for only and hour, and Buddha, you DIDN'T sleep.  Mommy knew we'd be in for a fun evening once you two arrived home :)-  You both enjoyed your individual time with GiGi & Gi-Pa, and Grandmoo.  So much so, you didn't want to come home.  Bodhi, you made pudding, as did you Buddha.  GiGi copied Grandmoo's idea to allow you, Jude to make/stir pudding :)-

When you two arrived home, oh man!  Buddha, you screamed banged your head and rolled around on the floor for a good 45 minutes.  Bodhi, you came home a mean Momma!  Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron stopped by, but Bodhi you were still with GiGi and Gi-Pa eating dinner.  Jude, you were eating dinner at home, and you decided everyone needed a taste of your food so you threw a piece at each of us, uggggh!  The rest of the night was spent listening to you two yell and scream at one another. It's hard to believe this morning when Mommy told you two to give one another a hug and kiss because you wouldn't be with each other the rest of the day, and you two gave each other a big wet kiss on the lips and embraced one another in a hug for a good minute or so, ended with you being so horrible toward one another!  Such suckers!

Jude, for the past four nights, you have awakened at about 2am, and you will not allow Mommy to rock you back to sleep.  You point to Mommy's and Daddy's room.  When Mommy, exhausted gives in and takes you to our bed, you so sweetly say, "Tank ouuu Mommy, tank ouu!"  Now how can resist that night after night.  Tonight, you refused to go to bed, despite falling asleep both on the couch and when Mommy rocked you to sleep.  Mommy took you in our room and had Daddy lay with you while I ran some errands.  Daddy was supposed to do yesterday's and today's blog entry, which he stated tonight he would do, but Mommy didn't trust that he would since he said in between snores.  Mommy is debating if I should paint the craft room ceiling tonight, or wait for another day...

Sweet dreams my angry babes!

PS  Your bum is all better Jude :)  Since Mommy sent the camera with GiGi last time, the camera went with Grandmoo and you, Jude, today :)

Grandmoo must really love you JuBoo.... Mommy can't remember Moo ever making breakfast for me ha/ha

And it appears to be edible ha!

My little artist :)  LOVE it!

Pudding anyone?

You actually look like your sister in this picture Buddha! :)

At home, passed out!

Fun In The Sun Sunday

Buddha, you continue to have diarrhea, and so your little bum is so red.  Mommy decided we were going outside to enjoy the beautiful day right off the bat.  We were outside from 9am until nap time at about 1pm.  Jude, you ran around the yard with a long t-shirt and no pants (including diaper).  You had Mommy cracking up!  When Mommy took your diaper off, you spread your legs apart, of course felt to make sure your "wee wee" was still there, and then walked around bull-legged for a minute ha/ha  Your first slide attempt didn't  go over well.  You sat on the slide, looked down, and then very carefully stood back up and climbed down the stairs ha/ha  Bodhi, you decided since Bubby didn't have pants on, you didn't want your shirt on.  So, you ran around the yard yelling "nakey, nakey, nakey."  You laughed hysterically when Mommy told JuBoo to be careful with his nuggets out, that we had to be careful that your boobies didn't get burnt.  Mommy went through most of a spray bottle of sunblock.  The sun was so hot and Mommy didn't want either of you to get too much sun.  You both ate about five Pedialyte popsicles a piece :)- and boy was that a mess!

Mommy got you both cooled down, wiped down, and fed lunch, and then you both were ready for your nap.  Buddha, you took a decent nap, but Bodhi, you slept and slept and slept.  Sean Franky and Daddy worked on hanging the birdcage foyer light, while Buddha, you helped Mommy seal all of the tables I've recently painted.  Franky and Daddy ended up waking you up at 5:30 p.m. Bo.  You again came outside for a little while.  Bubby and Mommy were outside from 3pm-7pm, and you joined us at about 5:30 p.m.

Mommy put you two in the bath, and Daddy got your dinner started.  You two were major fuss butts.  You two were super hungry and very tired.  Tomorrow, Bodhi, you'll be going to GiGi's and Buddha, you'll be going to Grandmoo's while we have an electrician over to install two overhead light boxes in Mommy's craft room, and install the birdcage chandeliers that Mommy made :)

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

A Two-Carriage Ride Saturday

Today was Saturday, so as usual Daddy was up bright and early and off to work (lately Daddy has been up and early every day because his back has been so painfulL) and back home again after 10 a.m. to check on Mommy and Bodhi and Buddha. You each had just finished breakfast, and the two of you eagerly agreed that Daddy should take you on a “carriage ride” to the Farmer’s Market.

So off to the Farmer’s Market we went and upon arrival we of course had to have a sourdough cookie, and we purchased some Amish brown eggs to take home with us. We also bought an herbal iced tea with lots of honey in it to bring home as a treat for Mommy, and of course we couldn’t go by the kettle caramel corn without buying some of that for Mommy too :). The kettle corn man was so nice he gave us an extra bag so we could enjoy some ourselves while on our carriage ride :). As usual, several people commented how beautiful the two of you are, and one nice woman asked if you were twins :).

By the time we got home, Mommy was finishing her shower and ready to make the two of you lunch and then take the two of you out back to play and visit with Baby Kitty (her name :). Our very nice neighbor Susan came over and visited you guys while you were out back, she was recently especially kind in giving Mommy some ground-cover plants for Mommy’s outdoor home improvement project. Daddy drove the truck over to our other house and picked up some lumber and a backyard arch-seat and Mommy’s giant clock off the kitchen wall. Daddy got to visit a little while with MooMoo who encouraged Daddy to have back surgery if it is called for, rather than go on living in pain. MooMoo also gave Daddy her cordless power drill for Mommy to use. Don’t tell Mommy but Daddy intends to talk to the two of you about getting Mommy her own cordless power drill for Mother’s Day but that is our secret :). Mommy has told all of us, she would really like to get tools for any special gift holidays so she can more successfully work on her crafts and home improvement projects. Mommy is a character, like the two of you.

By the time Daddy got home, the two of you were ready to go down for your naps, after which Mommy and Daddy played huggy-bear and kissey-face :) and then both of us began work on some of our projects; Mommy is preparing some things so that she will be ready when our electrician friend Tom Brown comes over on Monday to put a ceiling light in Mommy’s craft room, while Daddy busied himself finishing some end-of-semester business and begin preparations for plans to fix a couple electrical light fixtures tomorrow.

Brother Sean Franky and Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron came by and visited for a while, but they had plans so we couldn’t talk them into joining us as we went to Martino’s Italian restaurant for their 50th anniversary celebration where there was pizza-by-the-slice for fifty cents and cokes for fifty cents…yum, yum, yum! By the time we returned home, Mommy needed to go into work for a while so the three of us took our second carriage ride to Foster Park where there was a free concert and outdoor movie. We stayed a short while to listen to some music, treated ourselves to a root-beer that we shared, then we headed home to await Mommy’s return and bath-time for two dirty little babies :).

After your baths, Mommy made us all drinks (milk for babies) and popcorn so we had a brief family popcorn party (you pronounce it pop “coin” Bodhi :) and we all enjoyed the blessing of loving one another and settling in for the night in our beautiful home. We are so blessed, and the two of you are doubly blessed to have a Mommy and Daddy who understand the importance of teaching the two of you to value and celebrate your blessings! Next week, Daddy is thinking of doing a triple-carriage-ride Saturday :), sleep tight you baby angels!!!! :)

Sucker with a sucker :)

Three suckers!

Double suckers!

"Love You, Love You, You, You, You, You!"

Bodhi, despite our late night, you decided not to sleep in.  Buddha, you slept in until 9:00 a.m., thank you Bubby!!!  Mommy woke up excited about our fence being put in, however, they never showed and Daddy checked the contract and he can't figure out where he got a start day of May 4th?  Anyway, our fence didn't get constructed today.  Mommy got you two dressed and fed and then shipped you off to Aunt Ti's so Mommy could go to work.  Bodhi, you decided to break your Momma's heart.  You cried your little heart out when Mommy was leaving.  Mommy yelled out the car window to Ti to text Mommy (Aunt Ti knew Mommy was dying seeing you so upset)!  Lately you've been going through a new stage Bodhi girl.  Every time you get a "boo boo," or anytime anyone disciplines you, you cry for your Momma :(  GiGi and Grandmoo even mentioned that you did it with them too, they couldn't believe it.  You are such a Momma's girl ha/ha Daddy!

When Mommy arrived after work to pick you both up, you both yelled out with big smiles on your faces "Momma,"  and "Mommy!"  Momma was so happy to see you both in good moods.  Mommy asked you both if you wanted to go home and make popcorn and watch Rio.  You both screamed "YES!"  However, Mommy thought to herself "it's Friday, my babes should stay up late."  So, Mommy asked if you two wanted to go home or visit Grandmoo while Mommy dug up more plants (or starts) from our old house.  You both yelled, "Go go Moo Moo's!"  So, we drove by our house to get some plastic bags and a shovel and then we were off to Grandmoo's house.  Daddy had to attend the graduation ceremony, so he wouldn't be home until late.  In the car on the way to Grandmoo's you both sang Dave Matthews "Love you, love you, you, you, you..."  You two are so cute, you know several Dave songs!  You both will both get to see him in concert again this year, and can see along with him :)

You two had a blast walking around the block while Mommy dug, dug, and dug... by moonlight once again :(  Ugggh!  Mommy doesn't like seeing what she's putting her hands in, at all!  We have so many plants... our yard is going to be soooooo beautiful!  It's already beautiful, but when Mommy gets done with it, it will be a work of art :)

After some Grandmoo time, we all came home.  Daddy got you two ready for bed, Buddha, you insisted on going to bed.  Mommy was out back planting all of our starts in a temporary bed, so Mommy didn't get to rock you to sleep.  Mommy always puts you to bed, it drives me insane when I don't get to.  Bodhi, you decided you didn't want to go to bed, and you also decided that you wanted that popcorn that was promised to you.  So, you stayed up with Mommy and Daddy until 11:00 p.m.  You watched (and liked) Bill Maher!!  Mommy gave you a high five whenever Bill would say something funny.  You got into it and was disappointed when the show ended :)  You are a hoot!

Sweet dreams my sweet babes.  Mommy had to finish my craft room birdcage chandeliers... we have our electrician coming Monday!

Bodhi all smiles after her longggg afternoon nap... plus, Aunt Ti bribed you with juice to seetle you down :)

Sweet Sweet Baby girl!!!

"Bull!"

Today is Friday, so Mommy is playing catch-up!  Well, today (Thursday) went much smoother than our Wednesday, thank goodness.  Mommy sadly is having a hard time remembering any of our Thursday's details ha/ha... so let me think back...  We spent a couple of hours outside playing and planting during our pre-nap morning hours.  Ms. Susan two doors down, brought Mommy over a huge container filled with her beautiful ground cover.  It's super expensive and very unique. You can walk on it and it has shoots of beautiful purple flowers. Mommy got busy planting the entire container while you two napped.  Bodhi, you were super red-faced and very hot.  You had a major melt-down when Ms. Susan was over.  You were on your tricycle, you wouldn't move ha/ha, you just sat there, in the driveway in the middle of the hot sun. Mommy got you both cooled down and fed before going down for your naps.  Oh!  Our AC works.  Mommy couldn't take it and I knew you two wouldn't nap being so hot, so Mommy cranked our AC!  Our house cooled very quickly :)  YAY!

After you two woke up from your naps, Mommy took you both outside.  We split plants and moved plants around for a while, and then Daddy arrived home.  His back was bothering him, so he sat in the living room with you two, and Mommy started dinner (steak fajitas) YUM! Grandpa Kurt showed up for a visit, so he ate dinner with us.  A short time later Great Grandma Penny came by.  She too ate dinner with us.  You two played and show boated big time.  Bodhi, you showed Grandpa Kurt your batting stance, and Jude man, you showed off your arm (both right and left handed).

After Grandpa Kurt and Great Grandma Penny left, Mommy packed you two in the car (about 8:30 p.m.) and headed to Grandmoo's.  GiGi met us there and you two played with GiGi and Grandmoo while Mommy mowed our old house, with only the light from the moon!  Mommy spooked herself like three times mowing in the dark ha/ha  Mommy couldn't split our plants like I had planned to do :( I did manage to mow though...we'll have to check back in the daylight to see how I did :)

You two had a super busy day visiting with everyone.  Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

PS Bo, Mommy almost forgot, when Mommy or Daddy say something you know to be false, you call "bull,"  Sister Kelly has officially got you saying it, all on your own.  Mommy called "bullshit" on Daddy, and you started laughing and said, "Momma, Daddy no bull, Daddy not bullshit!"  You stayed up late, and so you were apart of our late night talk ha/ha... you even managed to sleep with Mommy.  Daddy came up to bed, after falling asleep on the couch and found you in his spot ha/ha  I'm sure Daddy called "bull" on you!

"Outside Momma!"

"Kitty Momma!"

Bodhi you refused to water the plants and insisted on watering the sidewalk and  driveway :)  Silly goose!

"This way guys!"

Precious Bodhi and her kitten :)

We successfully walked Baby Kitty around the block :)

Flowers For Our Special Friend :)

Mommy woke up this morning with a super fun UTI, all my female friends feel my pain, and Bo, unfortunately you too will one day know of this horrible discomfort :(  It was super hot today too.  We were all a little grumpy and very hot.  Mommy and Daddy have yet to turn on our AC, hopefully it works ha!  You two were dying to go on an adventure with Mommy and Daddy.  Today is Wednesday, Daddy day, so we all packed in the car and headed to the antique stores.  Bodhi, you are amazing.  Mommy and Daddy were so impressed with your ability to find little porcelain animal critters in such crowded places :)  Daddy says you have a true talent.  After antiquing, we went to Sams to pick up some grocery goods.  Toward the end of our shopping trip, you two had a melt-down at the same time!  That was not fun.  Mommy and Daddy got you two home and down for a nap.  Neither of you napped well, it was way too hot :(  So, you two woke up grumpy, well until Mommy announced that after dinner you two would be going to GiGi's and Gi-Pa's.  Then you two were all giggles and smiles, suckers!

Right before dinner Mommy packed you two in the car and we headed to Stites Cleaners to deliver Mrs. Hale her May Day flowers, a day late! Daddy had picked them out for Mommy since Mommy hadn't been feeling well.   Mrs. Hale was happy to see you two, and she could not get over how big you two have grown.  She loved the flowers and it seemed to have made her day :)  Mrs. Hale is the nicest lady, Mommy has made it a point to remember to take her flowers every spring.  She's been greeting Mommy since my sophomore year in high school :)  She appears to be going through chemo again, so our prayers and thoughts are with her!  The Newburns and little Paul Fisher also remain in our thoughts and prayers.

We then headed back home where Daddy had dinner waiting for you two.  You both gobbled down your dinner and waited running from window to window hoping to see GiGi pull up.  We GiGi did arrive, you two went bonkers!  Mommy forgot to send the camera, and GiGi reports we missed out on so many adorable pictures.  You two were rolling down the hill, and you two got so filthy dirty GiGi threw you both in the bath tub.  While you two were having an absolute blast, Mommy and Daddy were home working.  Mommy had a court report to finish, Daddy had grading, and so we sat together in the living room watching a free movie and working on our work.  Mommy then went to work conducting a drop-in visit, and then I went to retrieve my two favorite monkey butts.  Ju Boo you were being something else. It was well past your bedtime and you did not want to leave.  You were hitting Mommy and hitting GiGi when she told you to say you're sorry, you were a stinker.

Mommy and GiGi finally got you both loaded into the car.  Bodhi, you were a breeze :)  Ju Boo, you eventually gave in :)-  Bodhi, you fell asleep in the car on the way home, and Juders you were wide awake but ready for nighty night.  Sweet dreams my sweet babes :)  Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.. even though you're evening totally rocked!

PS Mommy only got one picture... of Mrs. Hale's flowers ha/ha sorry babes.  I am going to include a video clip from a couple of days ago though.

Happy May Day

This morning we got back to our routine ball playing.  Bodhi, you were on fire!  Buddha, you were the best ball fetcher ever:) After a morning of playing and a nice lunch, Mommy took you two to Aunt Ti's so Mommy could go to work.  Mommy is now taking her client to volunteer at the Humane Society on Tuesdays.  Mommy loves walking and bathing the fuzzy butts, I plan to volunteer more now that I no longer have Graduate school to worry about :)

You two played with two new playmates at Aunt Ti's.  Aunt Ti was watching two little girls, ages four and five.  Bodhi, you were bigger than the four year old ha/ha and Jude man, you were reported as being a little flirt! You two had a great time at Aunt Ti's as usual.  :)  You two love your Aunt Ti!

When we arrived home, we brought Baby Kitty inside and got our p.j.'s on.  Daddy arrived home and we got you both settled in for the night.  Well, Bodhi, you decided to stay up with Mommy and Daddy.  We had a fun night together.  You were extra lovey and super funny.  You love Mommy and Daddy time but Mommy and Daddy love Bodhi time even more :)

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!  Mommy and Daddy love you two so much!!

PS Every year Mommy and Daddy take Mrs. Hale, at Stites Cleaners, a bouquet of flowers... Mommy had planned to take them to her today, but I spaced it, go figure.  So, the plan is to take her flowers tomorrow.  :)  Happy May Day!
