Boobies All Gone

Mommy and Daddy woke up refreshed this morning... we opted to retire to bed at 10:30pm last night.  Juders, Mommy is so proud of you.  You are sleeping through the night and are now boob-free.  You occasionally stick your finger tips in your mouth, look at me, and say "ummmm nummmm," but other than the occasional finger sucking you are okay with not nursing.  Mommy was so excited to wean you, yet now I'm sad that stage is over :(
This morning Mommy and Daddy, though refreshed, were still rushed to get everyone ready and out the door.  You two went to Aunt Ti's until early afternoon, as usual, and Mommy and Daddy went to work.  Aunt Ti reported that you, Bodhi, broke her heart.  You are still scared of Uncle Brentagious.  He walked in the kitchen and caught you by surprise.  He didn't say anything to you because Aunt Ti has given him strict instructions he's not to say anything to you ha/ha, but you started balling.  Aunt Ti ran to you your rescue.  Mommy doesn't know what your deal is with Uncle Brentagious, but you aren't getting any more comfortable.  Juders, you could care less.  When Mommy arrived to pick you both us this afternoon, Uncle Brentagious would talk to you Jude, and you would just stare and listen hee/hee you did have a funny look on your face, as if you were sizing him up :)-

Mommy carried you both in from the car and placed you in your beds.  This always makes Mommy nervous, leaving one of you behind in the car asleep while I run the other up the stairs.  You both took a nice three hour nap.  Mommy had to fax a ton of documents to the bank for the underwriting process.  Mommy and Daddy have been feeling so anxious about this process!  Hopefully we'll be closing at the end of next week or beginning of the week after.  After we close it will be another 30 days before we move in... it seems like forever away, but Mommy knows moving time will be here before we all know it.

This evening, Mommy fed you both dinner, dessert (fruit), and Daddy arrived home shortly after.  Mommy played with you both for a while and then Daddy took over so Mommy could go back to work.  Mommy arrived home just in time to put you, Buddha, to bed.  It went surprisingly well!  Mommy couldn't get you to sleep by rocking and singing to you, so Mommy laid you in your crib.  You whimpered but then went right to sleep.  This evening, you, Bodhi, wanted Mommy to cuddle you on the couch and watch cartoons.  So, Mommy did!  Daddy got a little jealous and bribed you away with a sweet treat, but Mommy won you back for a bit.  Mommy then changed you, Daddy was too tired, and then both Mommy and Daddy put you to bed.  Now, everyone but Mommy, including the fuzzies, are fast asleep.  Mr. Arlo is doing 1000 times better and seems much more comfortable... he better, after the dent he made in our checking account!!  :)

Mommy hasn't been keeping up with the house cleaning lately... so, I asked you two to do your part, and you both went to work :)

Long Overdue, A True Daddy Wednesday

Today Mommy had to work all through the day so Daddy spent extra time with both of you, Bodhi and Buddha, playing at Highland Park! Mommy suggested we get out together, and we had a great time! Daddy tried to capture some of the adventure on his cell phone camera, but unlike Mommy Daddy is not a very accomplished photographer. Oh well, whether or not the pictures came out ok we still had a day of loving memories playing on every play station at the park and visiting a squirrel who kept “barking” at us like she wanted to join in the fun! Then, we were visited by a stray cat that made both of you go bonkers, especially you Bodhi! You kept talking to her saying over and over again, meow, meow, meow…J Daddy had to watch Jude more closely, though you are a gentle baby boy, that is for sure, you still kept trying to get down in front of the cat and put your face up against her; Daddy won’t take any chances with either of you getting hurt, you just cannot trust strange animals, so I played it safe.
The two of you play and interact so well together, it is pure heaven spending time with the two of you and watching the delight you each display while you play and the love you have for each other. Wow, we are so blessed! Buddha, you try to emulate your sister and boy did you get frustrated when she crawled up the slide, but you couldn’t make it because it was too slippery. You have a bit of a temper young manJ We went by the college to drop off some bread to sister Kelly before we went to the park, and Bodhi you tried your best to get sister Kelly to get in the back seat of the car with you and your brother and join us for the recreation, you are so doggone precious!
After our park adventure, we returned home for grilled cheese sandwiches and fruit for lunch, then shortly thereafter the two of you were down for a nap…and yep, Daddy accepted the invitation to take a nap on the couch while the two of you were sleepingJ
When Mommy got home she prepared dinner for everyone, delicious chicken and noodles and mashed potatoes and finally as the night ended we all found our way to some rest. Mommy was especially tired and she did fall asleep on the couch while Daddy composed this blog entry, and Daddy is about to go see if there is room for him on the couch, tooJ
Sleep tight and don’t let the bed bugs bite, you Princess and Prince of Indiana, you precious jewels and certain royalty of our magical universe…
Happy Birthday Grandma Betty, we wish we could be with you on your birthday!  We love you sooooo much xoxoxoxo

Tuesday with Aunt Ti Ti

Yikes, today was no less hectic nor crazy than yesterday.  Daddy took you two to Aunt Ti's this morning before work. Mommy had to get a urine sample from Mr. Murff (which was interesting to say the least) then I had to take Mr. Arlo to Carmel for his vet appointment.  Oh my... we left the clinic, only after Mommy scraped together $650.00 smackaroos!!!  Mommy was ill and felt like crying as I left...they didn't bother to tell Mommy that when they took Mr. Arlo to the back room... they were going to run like a million different tests on him, they just stated the doctor was going to look him over.  So, his ear infection/itchy skin... which Mommy had already diagnosed, was confirmed by $650.00 :0  Holy Cow!  When they told Mommy how much she owed, she told them they could keep Mr. Arlo hee/hee  If only Mr. Arlo could run... we might have just made a run for it!

After the appointment Mommy went to work.  Aunt Ti kept you both longer than usual so Mommy could work after taking Mr. Arlo to the vet.  You both went down for a nap with no problem, YAY, but you both only slept for a couple of hours... or an hour and a half.  You both woke up happy and hungry as usual though.  Aunt Ti had Mommy pick her up a pizza on my way to get you guys...which, on the way to Aunt Ti's, Mommy was still stewing over the huge vet bill, so much so, I couldn't figure out which road I was on or how I got there:/  I finally realized where I was, which was right on track (the car must have been on auto pilot)  I couldn't recall how or where I got where I was though, it's a very weird feeling... one that sadly happens to Mommy a lot hee/hee (I hope it's not early Alzheimer's, which runs in our family).  Right as I was figuring out where I was,  Grandmoo called on my cell.  Mommy can't talk on the phone and drive... but I did, and I drove about four miles past my turn.  I wouldn't have noticed had the road not ended!  So, needless to say, I arrived later than expected.  You two went to the kitchen table, as if Mommy had brought you dinner :0  Aunt Ti insisted that you two eat pizza with them hee/hee or you guys manipulated Aunt Ti into inviting you to dinner (Mommy tried warning Aunt Ti that you two eat a ton, but she insisted).  Sure enough, you two ate two pieces and then tried swiping like Swiper on Diego, little Lizzie's and Ellie's pizza off their plate.  Mommy got you out of there before you ate the whole pizza!  Aunt Ti says you two are the best babes, and she loves you two very much!  We're very lucky to have Aunt Ti watch you two!

Mommy then took you both home and we played outside for a while.  Right as Mommy was taking you inside, Grandpa Kurt showed up.  He spent the evening over here visiting.  He gets the biggest kick out of you two!  You two had fun playing with Grandpa Kurt, running around being all crazy, dancing, and wrestling.

Today is Daddy's late night, and when he arrived home he got a call from Aunt Terrie.  You both were super tired, so Mommy put you to bed.  No Daddy time tonight :(  You two were passed out by the time Daddy got off the phone and off the computer!

The day Mommy didn't pack the camera for Aunt Ti... Aunt Ti took a ton of cute pictures :)- but with her cell phone...

A Schizophrenic "Tude" Monday

Today can only be characterized as a schizophrenic "tude" Monday.  Good tudes, bad tudes, hyper tudes, tired tudes,  temperamental tudes, short tudes, loud tudes, hurt tudes, and yes even fuzzy tudes... a whole lot of "tudes" rolled into one.   Only a Monday can produce so many attitudes.

You babes were good, I think Mondays can just be, lets say, "difficult," when the big people folks around you are tired and stressed.  You two really do pick up on the emotions and stresses of us big people caring for you.  Mommy is tired, so I'll just say, it was a typical Monday routine with some Grandmoo time added in so that Mommy could work.  Bodhi, your Speech Therapy session went well, until the end... typical.  Jude, you were hungry most of the day, had several head injuries, you were especially wonky this evening from being sleep drunk...typical.  Mommy and Daddy ended the day with some cuddle time with you two...typical.  However, Mommy cuddled with you Bo, and Daddy cuddled with you Buddha... not so typical.  It's Mommy's and Daddy's attempt for you two to start tolerating the same sex parent more hee/hee since you both favor the opposite sex parent right now :)- What better time to start than now? Buddha you are being weaned from nursing, and Bodhi, you are a night owl like your Momma.

Bodhi, you were less than happy that the Mommarazzi came out this evening... one of the "bad tude" moments of your Monday

"Perturbed Buddha" :/
Buddha with one sock, this was one of the "angry tude" moments of your Monday!

Buddha, you ate and ate and ate, and ate some more... then you startd licking your sister's apple snack bowl, really?

Bodhi's attempt to smile.... "tired tude"

"Stuborn Tude"
Buddha, I don't know what was up with your pants, but they wouldn't stay over your bum... anyway, you got into the diaper basket and pulled out the diaper sacks :0  "No No Buddha!..."  You didn't listen.

"Sweet Tude"
"I can stay up with you Momma!?"
Mr. Murff survived another day :)

as did Mr. Arlo :)

Spaghetti Sunday

Well, babes, our day was no where near as exciting as yesterday :( Daddy let Mommy sleep in and he made us all breakfast, and then Mommy told Daddy to go take a nap... between work, work, and work, school, getting our house ready to show/move, worrying about the house we're buying, missing important family events, Mommy and Daddy have very little energy left some days... and today was one of those days.  We still had a very good day though!  Mommy played with you two, and you two had a ball messing up Mommy's clothes piles.  I started with a "donate," "sell," and "store away for next year," but when you two got done, there was one pile... a "mixed up mess" pile! :)  Oh well, you two had fun, and I got sick of saying "no, no."

You two were ready for a nap early today... usually, you both fight a little, especially here lately, but not today.  You both took a nice long 3 1/2 hour nap.  Mommy and Daddy took down the pig chandiler in the kitchen and hung a new light fixture, and we gathered up some of our yard gems that we want to take to the new house :)  Daddy also mowed, and Mommy packed up and organized yet some more stuff.  Once you to woke up from your naps, Mommy fed you left over Mike's spaghetti.  I think it was a first for you both.  You've tried the little toddler containers of Speghetti O's etc... which, neither of you like, but you both enjoyed your Mike's spaghetti.  Mommy doesn't care much for Italian foods, and I think you both, aside from your spinach pasta-pickup's, don't care much for pasta-like foods.  You both do enjoy pizza though... Mommy hates pizza (except for Vincennes' Bobe's Pizza).  Anyway, today's pictures, the only few I managed to capture, were of you two eating.  This evening you both went over to Grandmoo's house where GiGi and Grandmoo were waiting on you.  Mommy had to go to work, and Daddy had to get some class work caught up, but he'll be up all night trying to get it done.  Mommy will be cleaning around him, I already know, Daddy will be griping the whole time... he can't stand the smell of cleaning products (he's coo coo like that), I think it's part of his hoarding disorder hee/hee  Again, anyway, you two had a blast with Grandmoo and GiGi!  Mommy was kicking herself for not taking the camera over when I came to retrieve you two!  Grandmoo had you, Buddha hanging upside down by your feet chasing your sister around the house.  You had hold of Grandmoo's pant leg and Bodhi's shirt, and you and your sister were laughing hysterically.  GiGi and Grandmoo were chasing you two around too.  Bodhi, you managed to bounce yourself right off of Grandmoo's couch trying to get up on it.  Buddha, you have no sense of danger yet... you dove off of Grandmoo's couch trying to escape your sister, luckily Mommy managed to put her hand right under your head as you fell to the ground.  Your body bounced off the hardwood floor but your head landed softly.  It didn't phase you at all, you just got up and kept on.

Mommy got you both home and threw you in the bath.  Well, I threw you first, Buddha, Bodhi insisted on taking her bath after you, she had to get her cartoon time in with Daddy before she was even thinking about a bath.  Daddy put you to bed Buddha while Mommy bathed Bodhi.  Mommy misses nursing you to sleep, and that power nap that goes along with doing so :(  You are almost completely weened though. I think in the last three days, you've nursed once.... and that was last night at midnight.  Mommy was hurting and you wouldn't quit screaming, so Mommy gave in.

Tomorrow, Ms. Connie is coming to work with you Bodhi, and then Grandmoo is coming over to watch you both while Mommy drives to Lafayette for a meeting with work.  Afterwards, Mommy will be working here in town for a while too.  Tuesday, Mommy has to manage to get a pee sample from Mr. Murff, and take Mr. Arlo into the specialty vet.  Mr. Murff they're going to be running tests on your urine to try and diagnose your issues.  Mr. Arlo is going to see what we can do about his ears.  The holistic medications haven't worked for the past year, so it's time to try something new.  Busy Busy Busy, Mommy's isn't thinking about the rest of the week yet!

Sweet Dreams Baby butts.

Bodhi, you rarely let Momma help you with your meals anymore :(  You are growing up to quickly!

"Yummm Spaghetti!"

Buddha, Momma still does most of your feeding... you are becoming more frustrated with this arrangement though hee/hee, you're just so wild, it's my way of trying to minimize the mess.  Here soon, you'll be like your sister and insist on feeding yourself.

"Happy Spaghetti Buddha" :)

Saturday Adventures... Minus the Most Important One :(

Today was an absolutely fabulous day, that is until mid-day when Mommy received a call from Aunt Diane, but I'll get to that a little later :(  This morning, Bodhi, you kept grabbing Mommy's hand and rubbing my finger nails and saying "oooooh," (they're painted red).  So, Mommy asked if you wanted your nails painted.  You of course nodded your head yes, so Mommy went and fetched the sparkle finger nail polish.  It doesn't show mistakes and if you were to rub it on something or bump it, it doesn't show :)  Mommy then painted your nails and toe nails.  Buddha, you thought it was funny that Mommy and Bodhi were blowing on her nails, so you joined in... in between laughs :)  After Daddy arrived home we headed to the farmer's market downtown.  Daddy showed up too late last week, so we missed out on eggs.  Mommy hates to report, we also missed out this week :(  They had sold out early once again.  Daddy doesn't get off work until 10am, and by the time we get you both packed in the car, it was about 10:30am.  After our farmer's market adventure, we all then went out to eat at Jamie's Soda Fountain.  It was overpriced, Daddy hated his food, and the service was less than good, but we all had fun eating together and doing something different.  Bodhi, when we were first seated, a little girl in the booth behind us said to her mother, "Mommm look at that little girl's hat," and you heard Bodhi!  Loudly and proudly, you yelled "Moooooo!" at the little girl.  Everyone had a good laugh at you.  Juder's you ate a whole grilled cheese sandwich, a side of fries, and some of Daddy's nasty mashed potatoes hee/hee  You were also adorable in your little doggy hat.

Mommy and Daddy then made a quick trip to Menards, just before your nap time.  We picked up a new lighting fixture to put in our kitchen, so that Mommy can take the very expensive, and super special flying pig chandelier that Grandmoo bought Mommy, with us to our new house :)  Afterwards, you two went down for a nap.  It was at this time, Aunt Diane called to ask if we were all okay.  Mommy was a little confused by her question, but then Aunt Diane asked if we were still planning on coming??  OH NO!  Mommy and Daddy had completely forgot that THIS weekend was Abby's wedding :(  Both Mommy and Daddy had thought, for whatever reason, it was next weekend, despite the invitation hanging on the fridge right in front of our faces (for the past like 2-3 months)!  Mommy and Daddy both felt ill.  We were looking forward to seeing everyone, but even more importantly, seeing Abby on her special day!  This is the second wedding in the last three weeks we've missed!  Mommy and Daddy feel absolutely horrible.  Mommy wanted to jump in the car and make it for the reception, and Daddy was game, but Aunt Diane didn't think we'd make it in time, so we didn't try.  How depressing!

Mommy, feeling upset and sick to her stomach, decided to get you two out of the house while Daddy did some work.  Mommy took you both, first to Foster Park, and then to Highland Park.  You two had such a good day at the park.  You two played for hours, and we only left because Jude, you poo'd and Mommy didn't take any diapers :(  We then came home, and Mommy and Daddy fed you both TWO dinners!  Mommy then went to work for a while, and picked up some dinner for Mommy and Daddy.  You two played with Daddy until it was time for bed.  Mommy didn't make it home in time to tell you goodnight Jude, but I have a feeling you'll be waking Momma up, so Mommy will get to tell you at some point.  Bodhi, you cuddled with Daddy and snacked on some Mike's Pizza garlic bread while Mommy and Daddy ate spaghetti.  You two will get leftovers tomorrow for lunch and dinner I'm sure.

Bodhi, purse on one arm and baby in the other... she's ready for the farmer's market :)

Buddha, not thrilled to have a hat on, or to be in the car hee/hee

Beautiful Baby Girl! xoxoxoxo

Precious Baby Boy! ;)

Such a big girl!  Fearless!
Bodhi, there were several other little people at the park, they were three and four years old... you were wayyyy taller than all of them!

Buddha did not like the fact that he couldn't stand in the tunnel... Buddha, you screamed and screamed!  If you would have walked toward Sissy a few steps, you cold have stood up because it got bigger, but no,  you threw such a fit... Mommy had to squeeze her fat butt in there to get you!

The Federspills were walking Pepper by the park... Momma Mia came over to see you both :)  Buddha, you gave Mia a nice wet kiss through the fence.  You are such an unbelievable flirt!  You also walked up to another little girl and handed her a walnut :)  It was the sweetest thing ever.  It would have made for the perfect postcard.  Mommy almost took a picture, but I didn't want to make her Daddy uncomfortable hee/hee
Mommy loves our days at the park together... you are so such a happy girl when we go on our adventures :)

Bubba giving the squirrel lovin's :)

Of course you spotted another little girl to stare at (the little girl sitting at the picnic table in the  previous picture)  I think you thought she was sad, so you gave her a walnut... Such a sweet boy! :)
